The Grissom Air Museum is much more than just a roadside attraction, it is a solomn place to honor the airmen who have served at Bunker Hill-Grissom Air Force Base. Twenty-four well maintained aircraft help the Museum tell the Cold War stories of Captain Rocky...More

Really enjoyed walking through the planes on display outside. Entry into the planes not allowed. Very nice presentation of aircraft ranging from Cold War and Vietnam eras. Wear comfortable shoes. Simulators inside the museum building. Admission was $6.00; $5.00 for ex-military or active.

What a neat place to stop. Even if you're not a aircraft junkie this place has something to offer. Lots of history of our great engineering feats we accomplished in the air since WWII. They just recently purchased another training aircraft that has a funny...More

Great place for all ages, and at a great price. Getting to see planes up close and read the history on each one was awesome. Glad we went.

With prices this low, you gotta visit! $6 per adult. $5 for kids. 5 and under are free! All of my kids (ages 3-12) enjoyed this museum, specifically crawling inside the airplane cockpit and the helicopter innards. It’s a great spot to make a pit...More

I toured this facility while in town on business. It is run by volunteers and is quite nice. Most of the displays are outside and one is not allowed to climb on or go into the aircraft, but still nice to be able to walk...More

I remember as a small child visiting Bunker Hill AFB when it was still active when the Cold War was at its height. If you can remember that and love airplanes you must stop at the Grissom Air Museum if nothing more than to seeing...More

If you have any interest in military planes of the last 60 years, this place is a must. (And if you don't love aircraft it will be of zero interest.) The museum is at the edge of Grissom Reserve Air Base just south of Peru,...More
