Everything absolutely super. A wonder of Nature. The road the way up is good even for smal cars. After you park the car, you must go 20 minutes to forest and you have arrived at the tickets. From there you have to go down the...More

We were members of a small Jeep tour group, and the cave was opened for us to visit in the evening, out of regular visiting hours. WE could park at the site entrance as well. Going down the wooden staircase was not only cold, but...More

The cave is nice but not worth the driving effort. Nice to visit if you happen to be in the area, but don’t go out of your way for this. Conditions are not very good: slippery staircase, cold railing (bring gloves) and poor lighting. The...More

The entrance is 13Ron, but in my oppinion this is expensive for what you can experience. There is a 10 minute walk from the main road to the entry point. Be aware that parking is somehow limited in the area, some locals offers for another...More

The access to Scarisoara glacier-cave is either by car or by a nice hike in the beautiful scenery of Apuseni Mountains. The cave hosts the biggest underground glacier in Romania, which doesn't melt during the year, not even in summer. It is worth visiting!

After leaving the car somewhere (some unofficial parking areas are unreasonably expensive), there are 10 minutes of pleasant walk to the cave. The ticket acquisition was chaotic, as the seller took a break and then tens of people handed him money without getting ticket because...More

Extraordinary absolutely everything. From the man who welcomes you to the flower pot. Speechless. Nature is the true soul that represents us. Their example, of those who support this wonder of nature in understanding what tourism means must be proved. BRAVO thousand times.

The good thing is that there is asphalt up near the cave, you climb through the gorge Ordancusei, where the scenery is wonderful. Rent a car in Oradea and Cluj and enjoy the accessible caves in Apuseni.
