I visited last year as I had already done a shark cage experience. If you want to see a huge croc up close, and I mean centimetres from your nose, then this is for you. You are in the cage and the normally sedate animals are lured to the cage by a guy with a bit of meat on a fishing rod - not for the feint of heart. Thoroughly recommend it if this is your thing. If you are not into large reptiles sitting on a cage, relying on some good welding, then you can watch from the side while your friends appear to be croc bait! The shark trip just pips it as you see them in their own environment, but if you get a croc on the roof of the cage, you get closer and can touch their belly if you so wish. I was told that while they have a lot of crocs, they do not harvest them for handbags and the like...

Amazing experience with great hosts. Upon seeing I'm Muslim the lady changed the alcohol into beverages without me having to ask. A prayer room and halal kitchen for certain dishes available. Stunning views and gorgeous crocodiles. Will definitely be coming back soon to do the crocodile cage diving this summer!

Of all the experiences I have had on my travels through 63 countries on 6 Continents, Le Bonheur's new Nile Crocodile encounter was one of the most exhilarating. To step into an Acrylic and Wire cage in a lagoon occupied by 5 fully grown crocs was scary enough but to suddenly find yourself literally nose to nose with a half ton Apex Predator with 8 known Human kills to his name was awesome. Only the width of a sheet of imported acrylic separates you from these fearsome creatures, who are encouraged to swim alongside you by chickens dangled by the enthusiastic and knowledgeable Guide, Andrew. Even at my advanced age of 80years this was a worthy addition to my Bucket List.

We stayed 3 nights at Le Bonheur and didn't want to leave. The accommodation was very comfortable and loved having the fresh coffee and rusks left for us each morning. The views were amazing and great food in the restaurant.

We had the croc tour, the guide was really friendly and informative. As it was so quiet we also got to watch the baby crocs hatching which was amazing. We also did the croc cage diving which was one of the best experiences ever getting so close to the crocs.

Hopefully we can visit again soon and would definitely book into the onsite accommodation again.

Was a great day out - the place is very clean & well-kept. The guide had a fantastic sense of humour & super informative. The snake display was very interesting & my 5 year old son enjoyed holding the 2 snakes. Afterwards we shared a divine wood-fired pizza (can't remember when last i had such an awesome pizza) overlooking a lake. We did not venture to the lake but looked like there was a play area for kids. Would definitely go back.

Enjoyed the snake and croc tours yet when sitting down for food it's a different game.

The tables and menus are dirty, had to seat ourselves and ask if there are any waiters, nobody had smiles on their faces and platters and picnic baskets are no longer available.

Will never be back to the restaurant and wont recommend. There are lots of better places.

I'm a a crocodile lover. Been to crocodile parks in Orlando , everglades, Mexico, .... they were all fun and interactive. Le Bonheur offers none of the above . You get to see some crocs and that's where it ends . We called prior to our visit to book crocodile cage diving and were told that there's no need to book upfront . Upon getting there they told us it was closed . Really disappointing . You can't even take a picture while holding a juvenile croc, just like by most crocodile farms . Highly not recommended 😕

We spent 1 night in Coot 1A&B. What an absolutely wonderful experience! The apartment was so big. It's actually two interleading apartments so our teenage boys had their own space. Everything was spotlessly clean. Our boys love fishing and this was the perfect spot. My son caught 4 bass and many other close calls. My younger son loved swimming in the pool which is right next to the large dam so he could watch the fishing.
We had lunch at the restaurant. Absolutely delicious, piping hot pizzas.
Who would have thought that a last minute 1 night getaway just down the road would feel like we'd been on holiday!?
Highly recommend for a day out. Lovely play area for younger kids.

Started off with Stefan and the crocs. What a wonderful fun and funny guide. He really engaged with everyone and made the whole experience so much fun and educational.

We added the combo and had a reptile experience with Andrew. What a treat. He is so knowledgeable and passionate, that he made fears disappear.

Finished it off with a photo moment with a snake around the neck. You pay R28 extra for this, but well worth it. They really take care of all the animals and the cages are clean, well presented and the guides are wonderful and passionate.

We will absolutely return again.

We didn't go for the crocs, we went for the food. We enjoyed the croc pizza and sherry sauce. Absolutely yummy. Sitting on the balcony enjoying the body of water and perfect weather was great. Its always a pleasure visiting the farm.

The road in is not tar so little bumpy. Was hoping to have the croc pie which unfortunately they did not have, maybe next time.
