The idea family destination, Le Bonheur Reptiles and Adventures also offers outdoor adventures ( catch and release fishing, cycle track for 5 - 11 year olds, picnics, waterside braai's, row boating, and wood fires pizzas )

Difficult to find the place. I would suggest more signage to direct people. You drive past shacks on the farm to get to the actual location. Snake show and crocodile tour was very good. Handlers are well educated and the animals look well taken care of. For a solo adult, I wouldn’t suggest going in the school vacation.

Excellent visit. I thought I was fairly knowledgeable about crocs but our guide Andrew hit me new facts in the first five minutes and he didn’t stop there. His love for the crocs was obvious and his knowledge was extensive. Great value for money. I would definitely recommend a visit.

I'm a a crocodile lover. Been to crocodile parks in Orlando , everglades, Mexico, .... they were all fun and interactive. Le Bonheur offers none of the above . You get to see some crocs and that's where it ends . We called prior to our visit to book crocodile cage diving and were told that there's no need to book upfront . Upon getting there they told us it was closed . Really disappointing . You can't even take a picture while holding a juvenile croc, just like by most crocodile farms . Highly not recommended 😕

If you’re coming for a picnic or just to take a look at the crocs then it’s not great. However, if you are paying for the snake show and croc tour, it’s great. Hugely entertaining and informative snake show with large variety on offer. Croc show informative and fun (although perhaps too many jokes one after the other!). We had croc steaks (too fatty), croc pies and croc pizza. Great experience!

Great visit to the croc farm and restaurant. Our guide was absolutely amazing, and was so great with our toddler. Guide went with our pace and answered all our questions amazingly. Food at restaurant is delicious and you get your money's worth. Great place for a family outing and so much to do for the kids.

Andrew was an amazing guide. So knowledgeable about the crocodiles, speaking with such passion that we were all totally excited, didn't want the tour to end. Our boys loved the experience with the crocodile cage diving. I recommend staying at the farm, because you get a special discount on all the adventures they offer. And the place is really nice as well.

Started off with Stefan and the crocs. What a wonderful fun and funny guide. He really engaged with everyone and made the whole experience so much fun and educational.
We added the combo and had a reptile experience with Andrew. What a treat. He is so knowledgeable and passionate, that he made fears disappear.
Finished it off with a photo moment with a snake around the neck. You pay R28 extra for this, but well worth it. They really take care of all the animals and the cages are clean, well presented and the guides are wonderful and passionate.
We will absolutely return again.

We didn't go for the crocs, we went for the food. We enjoyed the croc pizza and sherry sauce. Absolutely yummy. Sitting on the balcony enjoying the body of water and perfect weather was great. Its always a pleasure visiting the farm.
The road in is not tar so little bumpy. Was hoping to have the croc pie which unfortunately they did not have, maybe next time.

Beautiful view from the place that looks out at water.... There are items for sale of the reptile variety ranging from key rings to wallets to belts to bags.... Not to mention the yummy crocodile pizza for lunch....

Do the crocodiles get killed or do they die of natural causes because I was told the crocodiles are farmed?

The crocodiles are used for laying eggs which are hatched. The offsprings are killed at age 2 for the meat and skin.
