Not only a beautiful home, but a remarkable museum with knowledgable staff. We even met the wood carver whose work is highlighted in various rooms. Do not miss this if you are in Canso. My husband doesn't do museums and he loved this.

A fine collection of historical items from Canso and the surrounding village of Hazel Hill. Take your time to look at everything as each piece tells it own unique story of the fishing, war and communication history of the region.
