Punta Uva is by far the most wonderful beach in the area - and there are plenty of nice beaches around! Safe for swimming and also good for snorkeling.

Nice beach, beautiful sand, however would not make the special trip to swim here unless your hotel doesn’t have beachfront. Would be awesome for kayaking!

This used to be my favourite beach but now has become crowded, commercial, spoilt and dirty. Sad.Still safe for families and swimming but not fir me. Snorkelling, scuba, kayak, etc etc are available.

Beach fun, swimming, snorkeling. Moments and views were like scenes from a film. Can highly recommend.

White sand, palm and Almond trees for shade, and a spectacular reef accessable only a meter from the beach! We lived on a sailboat and traversed the Caribbean for 10 years. Punta Uva reef is in our top 3 ever!

Hi! There are hotels near this beach. We stayed closer to Playa Negra at Casa de Corazon Del Mar. The oceans we saw in Costa Rica are not particularly blue and sparkling, but this beach did have a pretty greenish blue... More
