If you can find the right road to this beach, it is well worth it. Beautiful blue-green water, some areas a calm enough for casual swimmers where other parts are good for surfers. Don't miss the jungle trail up to the cliff overlook!

We enjoyed the white sands and very clean beach. The water was just the right temperature and there were no dangerous currents to be worried about

Almost no waves, this calm beach is the best in the area by far. On a weekend it can get packed so if you are visiting Sat or Sun, walk or bike as the parking is bad when full.

If you're in the area its a must visit beach, only one small beach bar / café and that it ! perfect for crashing on the sand, but not good for surfing like some of the other local beaches

Such a beautful spot and perfect area to walk the beach and find little sea trinkets!! We did a horse ride on this beach but also went back with the bikes to look for shells and coral~! One of my favorite spots in PV!!

Perfect beach to soak in the sun, lots of sand not to many people easy to find a spot with shade or sun.

yah its a long trip 5 to 6 hours - the semi traffic from Limon to San Jose is unreal - but sit back and take the scenery in at a slower lol pace - once past Limon to PV its like half hour

much calmer than the other beaches. I did get knocked down one day. just watch where the rocks are which is easy at low tide. if you want to surf go to any of the other beaches.
