Nestled in a beautiful woodland setting, with lots of local paths for walking nearby.
Great to see the real ales from local microbreweries served by gravity from the barrel. The interior is simple, hugely atmospheric and not been modernised, this this pub has SOUL!!!!!!

Brilliant pub beyond doubt old fashioned.
Friendly landlord going down to cellar to collect beer then friendly family appearing from different doors.
Crackling log fire and unpretentious surroundings added to atmosphere along with landlord's artistic ability.
Great pub !!
