Wednesday is pie and a pint night (£10.95). I had the steak and stilton pie. It was enormous, part of a proper plate pie with plenty of chips and a good pint. Well worth a visit

Visited for a meal whilst staying at nearby Shrigley Hall. I had mushrooms in Stilton for starter and my husband had the Thai salmon fish cakes. Both were equally delicious. We had the mince beef and vegetable pie for mains as it seemed very popular...More

Another pub visited whilst moored in Bollington. At the far end of town as far as I could make out but worth a visit. Friendly staff in what I believe to be a freehouse, a nice range of beers, some local and some from further...More

A really good pub that pays attention to details. A Hendricks G&T has a cucumber option. Bloody Mary comes with a fresh stick of celery. They even brought a bowl of water over to keep the hound happy! Great beer with a good atmosphere. Lots...More
