As cycle routes go this one has all the potential to be a fantastic route to cycle from Portadown to Newry and back. The BIGGEST problem we encountered was Newry and Mournes District Councils short sightedness by placing barriers across the route that were locked....More

Scarva Towpath is a brilliant peaceful walk as I need to walk on flat ground this suits me perfectly and I always bring my dog with me. It's quiet and full of wildlife such as rabbits, hares, birds, ducks etc
