This past weekend, I visited the new Peels store in a great big container just off the N2. I just love it. The ladies working there were amazing and very friendly and so passionate about their honey products. I can't wait to go back again next time I am back in the Midlands (which will be soon).
It was so nice to have such lovely shop assistants too. They suggested that next time I visit I should bring my own jar to fill with honey which I will definitely do as our family is in to sustainability and would rather use our own jar than buy it in a plastic bottle. It is also cheaper to do it that way. Well done Peels!

Peel’s is an institution - and the new location is nice and contemporary, with good coffee available too.
Perhaps a touch less of the ‘interesting stuff made from honey’ and could probably do with more products made from bees wax etc. In any event worth stopping in at on your way past.

What an amazing experience to have joined Peels Honey. I highly suggest to visit our farm stall/coffee shop in Howick on the N3 and Peels shop in Hillcrest

We love a good farm stall, and we thought this was pretty basic. We also LOVE peels honey, but found the selection not great, and I am almost certain it's cheaper at our local spar in Nelspruit. Wasn't worth the stop in our opinion.

Always visit Peels Honey in the Midlands when in Pietermaritzburg or surrounds. Love the extra tasty premium honey with unique flaviurs e.g lichi, black wattle etc. Lovely preserves and eco-friendly body and bath range.

I love this little shop where you can buy REAL pure honey, and many honey products. Well worth a visit.

Off the highway Peel's Honey is worth popping in. Various honey products as expected. Not quite the variety that there could be and would be nice to add a beehive or two. But still neat.

Popped into buy some natural honey. The assistant "doesn't really eat sweet stuff" so was rather unhelpful when I asked for advise between the different types of honey (Saligna, blue gum, plain etc). So we just had to guess. Peanut brittle is superb, the honey is a lot thicker than, what I presume is, watered down generic store bought honey. We will definitely stop there again.

Love this charming little shop - it is a family tradition to stop here if we are every nearby. The only place I buy honey from.. They have a great range to suit every one. (and just started a little sampling table which is great) The homemade jams, pickles etc are delicious and make great gifts if you can bear to part with them. Not to forget the peanut brittle, honey comb and caramel crackle if you have a sweet tooth. They also stock a great range honey based creams and balms for those who prefer all natural no chemical products.
