Great views, great trails, so secluded, quiet, cliff sides and badass rock formations. This was one of the best camping experiences I’ve had and I consider myself a little snobby when it comes to campgrounds for tent camping. Went here with my gf and we...More

We’re avid hikers, who hike all year long. This first trip to Ferne Clyffe was a combo of amazing trails and major stress. The park is infested with ticks. We’d never seen anything like it. Even at the campsite, they were just falling on us....More

In all our travels we have never been to a campground with such a rude host. Not sure what his job is but it definitely isn't interacting with guests. When we approached him he commented he was busy eating his dinner, a moon pie. Wouldn't...More

We had a wonderful time visiting this park. Very pretty and clean. Had a bit of trouble locating the trails we wanted to take but found the waterfall trail. Paths are clear and easy to see. Breathtaking views and even the waterfall site was gorgeous...More

Ferne Clyffe is beautiful - rocks, waterfalls, and cliffs filled with plants (especially ferns) that you can find no where else. It has a set of hikes from wheel-chair accessible to heavy-climbing into rarely visited spaces. Bring a water bottle and a decent map -...More

If you google Ferne Clyffe waterfall and if the googlemaps or gps takes you to a dirt road then you are at wrong location. Instead search for FC State park and then keep following the picnic area directions (signs do not have arrows...one sign board...More

Beautiful place. Moderate hike. Not long. Stil need to wear appropriate shoes. Almost missed the sign 'cause we drove around the circle the wrong way.
