Thoroughly modern entrance building with great coffee and cakes and lovely staff. A first floor of Ocean Archeography and a basement of the History of Texel and shipping, then out the back in the garden beautifully display fishermens cottages, a windmill, and a boat display....More

This place could be turned into a statement for cleaning up the oceans. Instead it just looks a bit like an interesting junkyard. Some of the exhibits are a bit weird (some jilted guy who throws his ex's memories into the sea back in 2001)...More
