nice experience with this museum launched in sept 1989. you can enjoy all aspects of Rwanda in the past from geology, social-economic welfare of Rwandans, etc.

I went on a quiet Sunday morning, and had a museum employee show me around. He was helpful and told me lots about the history and the people of Rwanda. Photography is not allowed though.

This is a good Rwandan historical experience. You can see everything from before 1500 to almost present day. The exhibits have a lot of artifacts from a long time ago. You would definitely enjoy if you like early history of countries and the world.

A history of Rwanda through the ages, escorted by knowledgeable guide. I am not sure that everything is of interest to everyone and feel it would have been better to browse the areas that i was interested in and then ask questions later.
