Beautifully restored Wright creation. Wonderful setting for a wedding or event with an expansive outdoor area in the back. Entire house can be rented and would be great for a reunion or small company retreat. Walking distance to lake views. Worth a stop.

Went to Chicago on Amtrak just to visit this house. Went on a Thursday, 08/17/17 even though there was not an organized tour. We are members of the FLW Foundation, thus the caretakers, Bruce & Wade, allowed my wife and I to tour as no...More

I had a fantastic weekend with family and friends at the Emil Bach house. The house was both artistically fascinating, and equipped with every amenity I could ask for. Many great restaurants are easily within walking distance or a train ride away. Also, despite its...More

Just north of Loyola University along Sheridan Road is this little jewel of a house by Frank Lloyd Wright from 1915, that has recently been meticulously restored. It's one of the few Wright houses in the city and it's easily accessed by public transportation. .

I worked closely with property managers Wayde and Bruce to plan a 40th Birthday Party for a close friend. Due to the date (early December), the beautiful Tea House and lovely grounds were not available, so we had to cap the guest list at 25....More

I was rather disappointed. Yes, it is Wright-ish. And it is one of the most popular choices during "Open Chicago" so come early so you don't have to wait long in line. The best part of the visit is the Japanese Tea House in the...More
