The largest enclosed conservatory in the world, host to amazing seasonal displays and one-time exhibitions, the conservatory's inner city environs have gentrified somewhat over the years, so this jewel is more accessible than ever. If winter cabin fever is setting in, now's the time to...More

One of my favorite places on the planet. Serene, peaceful, well maintained. And the opportunity to inhale all the oxygen the plants give off is such a gift. I brought my children here, and I now I bring my grandchild.

I was here for a event and if you like horticulture this is a place to visit. You also can learn about flowers and plants and the location is easy to get too. A long time favorite and good field trip for plant seekers.

Great way to spend 30-60 minutes on an afternoon. Beautiful and free! Incredible collection of amazing plants. Really builds appreciation of horticulture. Neighborhood is super sketchy, so only go in solid daytime.

We LOVED our visit on a cold day! This is a very large conservatory with about 2 indoor acres of plantings and water features to enjoy in the winter. The facility is free with a donation box, includes a children's garden area and a modest...More

I was so taken aback by Garfield Park. The conservatory is gorgeous and has a great playground for kids to run around during winter.
