This is a huge conservatory, well maintained and beautifully built. The fern room was my favorite, with koi and turtles. Even though we did not go outside, there was plenty to see within the walls.

This is one of my favorite places to visit. The conservatory is always changing up some of the plants, with amazing variety. The air is great, and there are wonderful learning opportunities.

The garden hosts some of the oldest palm trees and cacti from across the US. The garden is very clean and well maintained. The place is free, so there is that as well. Only thing is that it should have a small cafe or something...More

It is definitely worth the walk to Garfield Park Conservatory - such a tranquil place within the city. The planting is lush and tropical. Definitely a calming environment.

A beautiful mostly indoor park with an array of plant life. Beautiful, peaceful, interesting and mesmerizing. A great morning or afternoon walk, appreciating the beauty of the different plants and getting ideas for designing your own garden.

Beautiful plants, so many typies, a lot are labeled. Few different rooms like the fern room and orchid room. Staff are friendly and like to talk about the plants. If your headed to the zoo, take the short jaunt to the conservatory!!!

There is a nice collection of plants across 5 different rooms. It is a very far away from the other main attractions in central town, so unless you are really into conservatories it might not be worth the destination.

This place is massive and it's free! Serene and educational. Boring for kids, I think, though they did have one room completely designed for kids with an excellent slide. Beautiful and well worth the time.
