I've taken the subway numerous times while in Chicago, both during the summer and winter. The trains run fairly frequently and are much faster than cars during rush hour. In fact, the train can be far more efficient to go to crowded places without parking...More

We bought the 10.00 unlimited day pass and used it 4 times which would have been around the same amount if we paid for each fare. Nice to have the ability to use more. With asking for transit directions on my phone it gave me...More

Traveled all around the town and to Ohare with our family of 4. I think our teenagers thought it was an adventure, and my husband and I were glad to save the money over cabs all around town. The trains especially were easy to use...More

I want to thank all the friendly cta employees that helped us on our trip in chicago. Keep up the great work. Of course there are bad apples, for example the bus driver on the 151 bus on Michigan Avenue on 12/30 at 6:00 pm...More

For some reason, almost every train I boarded had sticky floors. From a transport point of view, the CTA did it's job well. No delays, convenient and easy to use. Loved just standing on the street and looking up at the elevated train tracks.

Took the train from O'Hare to Clark/Lake. Easy travel, clean train, good value for transportation. Took it back to O'Hare with the same comments. Though there was a kind gentleman that helped me carry my bag down the steps. God Bless Him!

Love the convenience and cost of taking the trains and busses in and around the city. Helpful workers too. I hope they are able to update their infrastructure soon. Once you’ve been to DC, it’s no comparison. Thanks for working hard every day for us.

Once you learn about getting a pre-paid pass and the route the rest is easy. I would come in from the burbs to Union Station and take cabs. Now I use CTA. Most of the CTA bus drivers are helpful.

Fulton Market, Randolph Market, Jackson Boulevard and
Greek Town make up the West Loop. The neighborhood is

Sorry not a local. Don't know what's safe or not in Chicago other than downtown. When in question, Uber or Lift, used it all over the world safely.
