I purchased a Ventra card at the beginning of my trip. I used it the entire time I was in Chicago. I took busses and trains through Chicago. The busses were clear and easy to use. The trains were even better than that. I would...More

The CTA is an economical and very convenient way to get around the city. With line L you can reach most places from the Skydeck to Wrigley Field.

Great system in the city. Best part is in the loop going between the skyscrapers. Try and pick the station for the film When you was sleeping.

The trains are a convenient way to get around Chicago, and mostly run on time. Multi day passes are inexpensive and easy to purchase. Staff is very helpful. There are many people running scams on the train to distract you and steal your wallet, so...More

You will need to find a station attendant to get you through the turnstiles. Children from 7-11 pay a reduced fare.
