You can go as far and as short a distance as you want. Ten miles or 10 minutes. From city center you can go south to The Shed, Aquarium or all the way to Soldier Field. Great parks, fountains, Millenium Park, The Bean, boat marinas...More

We rented bikes to get around faster and explore more of the city. I never knew how great of an idea it would be. The trail was beautiful with amazing views of the lake and the city!

Great area to walk along the lake. Also bike riding is available, segway tours or roller blading. Great scenery at the lakefront.

Where I live, large portions of the lakeshore are cut off to public access due to private property. Chicago city planners did this RIGHT! A great way to get along the city, observe the skyline and people, get exercise and see the lake. Love how...More

We spend a great day riding the bicycle and walking around the lake. The view of the high-rise buildings in the background was great.

I was so looking forward to a nice long walk around the trail. Construction had it blocked off and I never did find my way around the detour signs and heavy nearby traffic.

On a nice day there is nothing better than strolling along the lake, by all the parks on one side and impressive buildings on the other. You'll see lots of people out enjoying themselves, bikers, and families. The trail is wide enough to accommodate everyone....More

Well worth doing if you have the time. Safe, great views of both the lake and city and just a nice peaceful stroll

Streeterville is where visitors head for play at Navy
Pier, a pseudo amusement park and development of
restaurants, shops, rides, and other activities.
You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the
docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the
captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you
enjoy your fair share of sightseeing at the pier, you
can also visit other popular attractions there such as

There is a bike rental concession located in Millenium Park right off of Randolph. It is about a block from the lakefront path. There are numerous places to rent the Divvy bikes, but they do not include helmets.
