Loved how pedestrians are separated from bikes. Lots of drink/food stops along the way and the trails were very clean.

Stayed in Hyde Park and took a great ride up to the yacht basin and beaches. Too hot but there were water fountains along the way.

Really nice flat scenic trail around the North Chicago area of Lake Michigan. Good for walkers, joggers or riders. Plenty of room for all and scenery is great.

Very few cities have a body of water that abuts the centre in this way. A beautiful amenity that locals and tourists alike flock to. Lovely for a walk but don't forget your insect repellent in the warm weather.

Recently rented a divvy bike (cheaper than renting from one of the companies along the lake) and enjoyed the day. There are lots of great views and places to stop. The only issue is that it’s so busy it made riding the bike less enjoyable....More

You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the

There is a bike rental concession located in Millenium Park right off of Randolph. It is about a block from the lakefront path. There are numerous places to rent the Divvy bikes, but they do not include helmets.
