Outstanding views and a nice and relaxing walk from Downtown to Shedd aquarium and even further if you like (better take a bike then). Easy accessible walk and bike along the shore offers excellent views of the city.

Walking, or running, close to the Lake(or biking) seems saf and invigorating. Nice way to experience the wind of the windy city.

Would highly recommend getting a divvy bike and riding along the lakefront trail for some lovely views of the lake and the city. But don't ride too far if you're not familiar with the city, some areas are not as nice as others.

A nice morning run once you scale crossing the street. Construction in November 2017, but still nice to get out.

Great views of the city from the lakeshore. You can walk/run for miles. Safe and well marked with bathroom stops.

Coming from Toronto where our waterfront is very much a hit or miss depending on where you visit, Chicago's waterfront trail is an attraction not to be missed.

The Lakefront Trail really makes Chicago stand out as my favorite city. It is a beautiful view and with perfect weather, it can't be beat. Biking down the trail is one of my favorite things to do in Chicago.

You’ll find lots of action and excitement on the
docks. Along the pier, you’ll see the statue of the
captain for whom Streeterville is named. While you

There is a bike rental concession located in Millenium Park right off of Randolph. It is about a block from the lakefront path. There are numerous places to rent the Divvy bikes, but they do not include helmets.
