Unfortunately, even though it was April, it was still cold and a lot of the pubs and places to eat and drink weren't open yet. Also a bit too cold to sit by the river. I'd definitely go back in summer though! It looks like...More

Good to have a walk after a long flight and although it was very cold, we managed to walk quite a long way and it was beautiful. To watch lots of people walking and playing in the lovely surroundings was great then turn around and...More

Always a pleasure. Chicago makes no little plans, and the Riverwalk shows it. A wonderful use of a natural feature.

Chicago really did a great job with this Riverwalk. Wait till it gets warmer and then you can really enjoy what the walk has to offer!

Did the entire Riverwalk in March, so nothing was really open, but the walk is nice with great views. Will be great to visit in the summer when the weather is nice and attractions along the walk are in full operation.

The river walk is beautiful, plenty of places just to sit and watch the river taxis, boats and people. Lots of bars and restaurants to relax and enjoy outside.

You get a different perspective of the city when using the Riverwalk, and take in most of the major landmarks. To fully appreciate the river, book an architecture river cruise which covers areas the walk does not.

First, we both love to walk and took advantage of the River Walk because it is so well designed and easy to access. Now, we went during a time when it was cold, but there were many benches and the area was kept very clean...More

Don't miss experiencing this great walk. A lot about Chicago's history is all about the water, whether it is the river or the lake.

Beautiful way to see the views of the downtown area. Although Spring has just begun, the walk was very pleasant (weather wise). Lots of places to eat, soak in the breath taking views and capture some beautiful pictures.

I do not believe so, but you could probably catch the water taxi. It would be a fun and unusual approach to Navy Pier!
