would definitely return for another walk. I walked about 2 miles, and it was a different sight on either side of the river. perfect for a leisurely stroll.

The river is one of the main attractions of the city, so nice to be able to walk along it (even if it means being closer to the water for sometimes unpleasant odors). Lots of people and cafes and a very relaxing feel.

As other reviewers have said there are many and I would not say any is the best one as they all have different outlooks

I do not believe so, but you could probably catch the water taxi. It would be a fun and unusual approach to Navy Pier!
