I caught the taxi at the Field museum back to Navy Pier. A really worthwhile 10 dollar trip. Journey takes about 15 minutes but great views of the skyline and Buckingham fountain. Very enjoyable.

Wanted to go from navy pier back to downtown and didn't want to take an uber so we did a water taxi. For $10 you get a smooth ride along the river with breath-taking views of the city and buildings, we had been going hard...More

Took a quick ride from wacker drive to Navy Pier. Water was beautiful and the price is economical. Wish the drop off was a little closer to the entrance of the pier.

How can you complain? Great service, great price. Always on time and super polite. There is nothing fancy about a water taxi, but it gets the job done right! Anytime I am here always a must!

We got a day pass for $10 each and went down to Chinatown then back to near the Apple store then back to the nearest point to our hotel. Boats were frequent and had plenty of space.

You can take this from shedd aquarium to Navy pier or Michigan Avenue for shopping. What a great way to see the city from the water. Prices are pretty reasonable, and they are on time.

Best to pay for the full day and ride the taxi all day to different stops along the river. Tour the river. See the river from the boat prospective.

We took the water taxi from China Town to Michigan on a hot summer afternoon and the sun was too strong to seat outside. On the return towards sunset, we got a double decker water taxi and it was very pleasant seated on top. We...More

Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent
Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago
River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out

Actually, maybe not a short walk with a 6 year old, but bus or taxi would be convenient.
