We are Chicago's river transportation service. An iconic fleet of black and yellow boats, we serve all three branches of the Chicago River from March to November. Our stops include Michigan Avenue, Chinatown, North Avenue, Clark and LaSalle, The Chicago Riverwalk, and Union and Ogilvie Train Station. There is no better way to get around Chicago than by boat!

Gives a whole new and exciting perspective for a reasonable price. Staff good but there was an access issue for a disabled traveler (possibly due to early season)

We took the water taxi from Nay Pier down to the Soldier Field area. Beautiful views of the Chicago skyline. Nice way to sight see and save some steps for our feet!

This is a great way to get around town, and see it from a different perspective. Friendly staff, easy ride and beautiful scenery. This is a must when visiting the city.

These aren't too expensive and are definitely worth a try at least once, on a clear sunny Chicago day, when it's a real treat looking at the gorgeous skyscrapers from a comfortable seat on the Lake.

Getting out on the water is a great way to visit the city. I am not sure how often the boats are open but they are a real treat to use. It's a nice alternative way to get around the city.

Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan
Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent
Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago
River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out
neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the
place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with
shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and
dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale.
