There wasn't many people around on this early fall morning so there was a calm atmosphere. It really does look like a bean.

If you visit Millenium Park, you cannot miss "The Bean". Anyone who visits, from wherever, is attracted to the Cloud Gate and the contorted reflections you get while walking around and under the sculptrure.

One of the best free things to see and do in the city. Cloud Gate aka"the bean" because of it's shape is a highly reflective art piece that makes people smile. It is completely free and located just a short walk from the Miracle Mile.

This is an example of creative/intelligent public art. Honestly, did not expect it to be that interesting. I thought we would spend like 5mins and move on. Not only did we walk around/through/by it we also filmed a short little video for our friends back...More

I think every tourist who comes to Chicago takes a picture with the bean. It was crazy crowded on a Monday afternoon around 3 pm which makes it hard to take a great pic. My coworker who went there on his run managed to take...More

If you only have a couple hours in the city you must stop by here and get the token tourist picture in front of the bean!!

I really enjoyed the “bean” and the beautiful buildings and quaint shops and restaurants. We had a really good time and couldn’t have asked for better weather.

I'm glad that it was a sunny day when we visited the "Bean". It's a unique, free, and popular attraction, and a great way to people watch. Would certainly suggest it to anyone!

We had a lot of fun taking pictures at "the Bean" (as Cloud Gate is typically referred to locally). There are lots of fun images created by the mirrored steel, both outside it and "inside" it. Kids seemed to love it. On a sunny day,...More

This is a really interesting structure. It is called Cloud Gate, but many people call it the "Bean". It is made of polished stainless steel. Make sure you go underneath for some really bizarre photos.

Downtown / The Loop
Often visitors' first stop in Chicago, The Loop is a
good starting point to sample the city's energy and
flavor. This central business district boasts
Michelin-rated restaurants, upscale hotels, premier
shopping, and enough arresting architecture to keep
your camera busy for hours. You won’t find too many
photo galleries of downtown Chicago without a shot of
