The Lincoln Park Zoo has thoughtful exhibits and is beautifully landscaped, making it a flowering, wildlife-filled oasis in the middle of one of the country’s biggest cities. The zoo has done an amazing job guiding visitors through all of the exhibits without getting jammed up by using directional arrows and clear signage. Best of all, it’s free! We are fortunate to live within a short walk to the zoo. Honestly it’s been a while since I’ve visited this gem. I read that it had reopened, we decided to make a reservation (easy) and visit this FREE zoo. Although there were some exhibits closed, these was plenty to see and the grounds itself are magnificent. All the employees are super friendly and made us feel most welcome as we make our way through this challenging time. Chicago is a great place!!! Get out there and enjoy it!!!!…

This is a great zoo to just walk around and enjoy the weather. Although the buildings are closed due to Covid-19, there are many animals on display outside. Walkways are labeled showing direction of traffic and there are clear entrances and exits throughout the zoo.

Very disappointing!! There were more exhibits closed or empty than not. Signs everywhere said things were closed due to Covid. If you can’t offer a reasonable amount of things to see, then close. I am sure there were many disappointed children!
