- cazzaphinnGlasgow, United Kingdom332 contributionsAmazing viewsReally enjoyed this viewing platform. Was spacious and views were phenomenal as it was a clear, sunny evening. Recommend going up 30 mims before sunset to get the view before, during and after. Tilt is ok, a bit of fun and worth doing if there.Thank you for the nice review of 360 CHICAGO, and good advice about coming up at sunset! - Samantha B29 contributionsAmazing viewsAmazing views! We pre booked tickets as was advised it would skip the line but to be honest there was no queue to book tickets anyway. Enjoyed reading the facts on the wall as you queued for the elevators. The views are amazing! The tilt experience was ok but doesn’t last for long and in my opinion was not worthy extra money. We had a drink included too. I chose the wine and was given a large measure, do not expect the cocktails or wines to be in fancy cups. They are in a plastic cup, this did not bother us though. It was lovely to sit have a drink and soak in the lovely views of the city.Visited October 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 10 October 2023
- Sue WAberdeen, United Kingdom57 contributionsGreat views over ChicagoThe weather was not great on the day of our visit so visibility was not so good. However, we were still able to see most of Chicago. When you get to the Skydeck you have only 90 seconds to spend on the glass. This includes the time it takes for the official photo. This is very short and doesn't allow for you to take your own photo's with different views. Thanks for taking the time to write a review! However, it seems you may be confusing us with the Skydeck. Next time you're in town, visit us at the 360 Observation Deck, an observatory with unlimited time to enjoy our views!Written 11 November 2023This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited September 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 5 November 2023
- LaurenSCOScotland, United Kingdom112 contributionsAmazing views! The most amazing views! The tilt experience was great and I thought, reasonably priced! Staff were nice and queues moved fast. Only thing that stopped it being a 5 was the cost of the photos. You expect to pay a bit more at these things but I felt $30 for one print was excessive. Would definitely recommend when in Chicago! Thanks a lot for the review of 360 CHICAGO. We really appreciate the positive feedback. - holidaychicLondonLondon, United Kingdom633 contributionsTilt - do itWe did the tilt experience which was fun, lasts about 90 seconds and not as scary as I thought it would be. As others have said they don’t allow you to take photos and yes it is because they take them for you to purchase, which we did. You get a great view of Chicago and we had a cocktail whilst taking in the view. Thanks for the nice review of 360 CHICAGO. We're happy to hear you enjoyed the TILT. Concerns: I took my grandson who was 6 and insisted on going on the tilt. There was no line, but when I bought the tickets and took him to the tilt window wall, he got scared and would not get near it. I had to force him to get on it and hold onto him during the tilt which was not easy. They do not let a child be in the same tilt platform with the adult and he was next to me which made holding on to him a major problem.
Pros: I asked the staff the wait time is to get to the top and they told me an hour. The wait was 50 minutes and they were accurate. Great views, the windows are floor to ceiling and easy to see in all directions. Apparently the clouds lowered significantly during our wait in line. We could see everything very clearly below the cloud level as the clouds were just above us. We could not see the top of the Willis Tower and Trump tower. Very Glad I did not wait to go to the top of the Willis Tower as we would not have seen anything.
Recommendation: In hindsight, I should have bought the city pass as it allows you to access the VIP wait lines that are much shorter and/or I also recommend saving 20% by buying online in advance. Do not be surprised if a child is afraid of getting on the tilt. We had looked out the windows seeing the city below and then watched thru the tilt window of the people on the tilt before I bought the tickets as he kept asking to go. Once inside it looks and feels different which scared him.

Thanks for the feedback. We don’t let more than one person per window on TILT at a time for safety reasons, and your safety is our top priority. We encourage everyone to watch TILT in action if they’re unsure about trying it, and there’s absolutely no pressure to do it if someone is uncomfortable or afraid. We hope you can come back again sometime.

Prebooked the sip, tilt and view tickets for 6pm. 7pm comes along and we’re still queuing as it’s packed with people and the place is so hot. Felt dizzy queuing because they don’t allow drinks about 5 mins past the front door and it was so hot with nowhere to sit. We got to do the tilt at 7:30pm, went to view our photos but saw the price of them from the people in front of us and were so shocked. The bar was so so busy we had to just leave in the end without getting anything our tickets promised apart from the tilt. Feel like I’ve wasted so much money as it’s not cheap either. They should stop letting so many people book at once especially since they have allocated time slots. Missed out on everything our ticket promised apart from the tilt due to this.

Thanks for the review. Like most tourist attractions, lines are longer for us on holidays and weekends. We do everything we can to get our guests up and down as quickly as possible. Please email us at info@360chicago.com with more information about your visit. We'd love the chance to make it up to you and look forward to hearing from you.

My son's girlfriend said I had to give this a rating of "excellent." I was torn between that and "very good." Being a teacher, we used to take groups of 6th graders to this observatory. They used to have headsets that you used to explain what you were looking at in the different parts of the city. I was sad to see they didn't do this any longer. We did get a good deal through Groupon. We got a Sun and Stars ticket for $18. This would have allowed us to visit two times, once at night and once during the day. We only made it there at night since we were only in Chicago for a short time. The view was excellent. We did not opt for the extra cost of the "tilt." They had changed the layout a bit since I had been there last and one corner was completely taken up by a bar/coffee area. It was a nice experience and not busy since we visited in the evening on a Thursday. It was cheaper to visit here than the Willis Tower and so that was nice too. Overall, a good experience.

Thanks so much for your nice review of 360 CHICAGO! We're glad you had a good time and hope you can come back and visit us again very soon. We replaced the headsets with high definition interactive screens that tell you what you're looking at more visually. Hope you got to check them out!

With a charge of $30 per person for the "cocktail and a view," we were expecting a much more impressive "cocktail!" LOL. Enjoy a basic domestic beer, cheap wine, or crappy over-sweetened basic "cocktail"...or throw it in the trash because it's so terrible you can't finish it. Awesome view of the city though. We enjoyed it, but think they could be more classy and generous with the drinks included in the ticket.

Thanks for the feedback. Happy to hear you enjoyed the views. The drinks included in the combo ticket are what's on special. You can always choose from our full bar menu if you buy a normal admission ticket and order at the bar. Hope to see you again soon

I purchased 360 All acces pass (drink at a bar, tilt, view). View is beautiful. You can’t record or take pictures of yourself on Tilt attraction because they want you to buy their photo of you for $25...At the bar, drinks are not the same like pictures on the website -plastic cup, cheap drink. Staff is not friendly at all. And you can’t even sit with the drink because all tabels are occupied of people who don’t even have a drink.. Yes, even during pandemic. No socail distancing at all. I recommend to buy only the ticket for a view (without Tilt and bar) save your money.

Thanks for the feedback. The safety of our guests is our top priority. Tables at the bar are all spaced at least 6 ft. apart. We've had to adopt new serving methods in light of COVID-19, including using disposable drinkware. We can assure you that the drink recipes have not changed. We have worked with the City of Chicago to ensure our attraction meets or exceeds the highest of safety standards. We encourage photography throughout the observation deck, with the lone exception of when TILT is moving for safety reasons. Hope you can come back and give us another shot sometime.

My wife and I went during sunset. There were a nice size crowd taking in the views of the city as the sun began to set. It was fun to experience the lean-out window that makes it appear you are falling, but it was quick (something to experience, but I won't do it again). The glare from the overhead interior lights will show as reflections in your images of the city (you may not care). Don't use flash if you can help it. You do get to see a lot of Chicago on all four sides. There is seating away from the windows to experience the sunset/sunrises. This is a fun experience. Also you can grab a bite at the resturants ground level like Benihanna, Cheese Cake Factory.

It’s one of those Chicago tick box attractions I guess, & I did enjoy my visit. It was a clear but quiet day, so a seamless, no queue experience for me.
Goes without saying, the views are incredible. I opted for the View & Sip ticket, which encompassed entry & a syrupy cocktail in the naff Cloudbar. I figured after the syrupy cocktail I might psyche myself up to do‘Tilt’, the touristy add on which involves being tipped at an angle via a moveable glass & steel platform, over the side of the building, enabling sick bucket inducing, downward facing views of the city streets 1000ft below. l did, & it was petrifying, but blessedly short. As with these kind of attractions, it’s a factory line, with the usual overpriced cheesy photos & tat shop. Quite a well known wheeze if you want to experience the views but avoid the queues & not pay entry, is to whizz straight up the dedicated elevator to the Signature Lounge, where you can admire the vistas for the price of a syrupy cocktail, or touristy meal!

We visited in July, but it fit into our plans on a hazy day and the view was limited. Also, with no sunshine, the city just looks tired and dirty seeing the tops of buildings. All the exhibits and signs at the top were inactive, possibly because of COVID, so we did not know what we were looking at or any explanation whatsoever. Obligatory gift shop at the start of the ride up and, to make sure you can drop some tourist money, another at the top. The walkway on the bottom, from tickets to the elevator, was the most interesting part, describing Chicago neighborhoods and their history. Call before you go to make sure the exhibits/displays on top have been restored.

We visited and did Chicago 360 with Tilt, and since it was the night before my birthday, got the package with the drink. It was a good experience, but not as great as I expected. The staff who were running the downstairs activities, the elevator, and the bar were very nice, welcoming, and helpful. However , the employees who were working the Tilt were not any of those things. I basically felt as if my children and I were putting them out by being there. It was a new experience for my kids, and they were apprehensive. The demeanor of the e plain that area DID NOT help. Additionally, I feel I paid a decent ticket price for this activity, but half of the 94th floor was under construction. There was no bar, everything was canned. The area to sit was small and very limited, and one side was completely blocked off. I wish I had known about the construction before I visited.

Went here while walking the magnificent mile. Clear day with great views . Took around 15 minutes to get on elevator because limited number of people in a ride due to Corona virus. Bought ticket which included drink. Military discount was a bonus.

How do I purchase the pictures from my 360 Chicago Observation visit yesterday, Thursday, July 20, 2023?
Written 21 July 2023
You have to have the card that they gave you and that has a QR code you can scan or a number you can enter onto the website that’s on the card. But beware the pictures are $50. That’s your only choice. You cannot just pick one and buy one you must buy a whole package and the minimum cost is $50. After not letting you take pictures!
