Fantastic selection of stores - something for everyone and gorgeous buildings make this to be a great sightseeing experience as well. Stayed at Embassy Suites and walked everywhere. Will definitely be back again. Love sharing this experience with the next generation now.

Love love Chicago. All the stores, malls, gift shops, restaurants. So many things to do and so much to eat. Definitely dress warm in the winter, very Christmassy, very expensive. Loved the atmosphere and the buildings decorated so festively

There are plenty of sights to see and plenty of shops to take your cash along the way. Worth a visit, if only for the dogs.

We walked the Magnificent Mile and were impressed by all the efforts put into ensuring it’s clean and aesthetically pleasing. Lots of great shopping opportunities and every store we went into left us feeling like they were glad we stopped by.

A must visit when in Chicago, even if it is only to window shop. You can find all kinds of stores and a variety of choices. It is neat though it was terribly crowded as we visited over the 4th of July weekend.

Just MAGNIFICENT! We love Chicago. The resturants, the shopping and the people. I Love the atmosphere. The multi- level designer stores are awesome. It's like the Galleria in Houston but outside. I like the people because everyone is enjoying the same atmosphere. Laughing, talking, eating...More

Over 400 stores pack the concrete along Michigan
Avenue, the eight-block stretch known as Magnificent
Mile. This area between Oak Avenue and the Chicago
River is more a shopping paradise than a full-out
neighborhood. For prime upscale shopping, this is the
place to go. It’s busy, energetic, and packed with
shoppers. You'll also find hundreds of restaurants and
dozens of hotels, all on the mid- to high-end scale.
