We took the Bus Hop on Hop Off to tour the city. It was worth the price and we added an extra day just to be sure to visit all the areas. The city blocks are very long!!

With a little bit of preplanning and some kind requests for information, the Loop is very easy to navigate. Many of the wonderful Chicago"ites" that we asked gave us useful, up to date assistance in traveling this Lightrail.

It is a metro train up high, so you can travel from station to station as usual.

Yes. The Chicago Transit Authority sells day passes for $10 and three day passes for $20. Google the CTA for more info. By the way, Chicago now uses a Ventra Card that costs an additional $5 but you can cash it in at one ad... More
