Major works of art from different era, countries, and artists. Definitely not to be missed. As with all museums in Chicago, there are often free days and teachers usually get in free with an IDml.

The new display of Renaissance Art, Arms and Armor is very welll done. Whistler's Mother is back. The Thorne Miniature Rooms is always a favorite for the kids. I'm a member and have spent many Sundays just exploring.

Is the fast pass worth it? (realizing that "worth it" means different things to different people--it's not very clear to me what you get--understand bypass line of ticket buyers at door, but also quicker admission to different galleries? Thank you.

What Maren said. If you're on a time crunch skipping lines can be handy. Also, if you are planning on seeing everything that CityPass gets you into you can save a nice chunk of change.
