I only gave myself an hour to see this museum, not optimal, as I didn’t check the closing time BUT I still loved it! I grabbed a map and saw almost everything I wanted to see. The highlights for me were the Thorne Miniature Room...More

This museum is outstanding. It has excellent exhibits and is a very nice size to take it in and not be totally exhausted. We always love the impressionist paintings and you can get a very nice overview of that time period with their collection. Always...More

It’s tough to skip the Impressionists galleries here, along with so many others. I enjoyed the American galeries also, especially the way the furniture/objects/paintings are grouped together. Crowded Sunday, but such a gem.

Top quality, exhibitions are very nicely presented, you can spend one day here without being bored. The attendants are very helpful in showing you the way. The museum cafe is a nice place to have lunch, very reasonable price.

It was a bit of a windy day so we headed for the museums and galleries. This is an exceptional gallery. You could spend hours here and whatever your taste in art you will not be disappointed. Well laid out and absorbing.

The art institute is one of the great museums of the world and were early devotees of modern art. Thus, they have an exceptional collection. It also terrific for contemporary art.
