The Chicago Art Institute has art from all over the world and exceptional exhibits. There is so much that I always plan to spend a few hours each day, rather than try to get it all in at once. The Art Institute is one of the great museums of the world and it is easy to see why. I would... More

Degas Van Gogh, Gaugin, Latrec were all there. I was truly fascinated by the abundance of great art. Wooow!

This was my first time visiting an art museum and I loved it. This can easily turn into an all day event, as it's so easy to get completely lost in the art. The Chicago Art Institute has a lovely collection of Monet. There's one entire room of just his work and I was so at peace! The museum is... More

Great collection of artworks that warrants more international fame than it should. Also, a great institution for art in the Midwest. I always feel that's kind of underrated but shouldn't be.

I love this museum! There are so many great art pieces and it so easy to navigate. Few tips don’t need to buy tickets in advance just get them when you get there. If you want to buy another other Chicago attractions you can buy there also. Plan on spending a couple of hours there exploring the grounds. Make sure... More

I have never been to a museum before so I didn't know what to really expect. I went with my daughter and she thought it was amazing. She said that it was as good as one of the ones that she went to in New York. So if you are into museums, I guess this one is pretty good.

There's so much here for everyone. All kinds of art, the incredible collection of miniature rooms, and two great gift shops. We all enjoyed it, even our son who told us in advance "it will be awful."
