#1 Illinois destination. If you like Impressionism and modern art this is a must see. Loved the way the rooms were set up and the docents were friendly and helpful.

The Museum was great. There are so many pieces to see! Be sure to dedicate at least a half of a day to see the museum. Even then you will most likely need more time to get through the entire museum. The staff is friendly...More

I forgot how wonderful the Art Institute really is! So many great pieces to see. Plan ahead and allot yourself a few hours for walking through/seeing the "highlights" at the very least. If you wanted to truly spend a whole day here, you really could.

I can't believe the collection this place has! It has at least as much as New York or Paris. The galleries were organized and the guides were super helpful

Very well organized and structured design. Staff was extremely helpful. Would recommend purchasing accompanying audio recording to provide additional insight on the art.

Thanks for the input. I was planning on seeing both of those, and I think the Adler is better for the pass, even if it's not necessarily the better attraction in general. I'm planning on spending most of the day at the Art... More

I would also suggest you get the headset where you punch in a number and your hear a fuller explanation about the art work. It cost $7. Highly recommended.
