Taking the suburban train is simple and comfortable. You travel to the downtown station and can warm up in the winter, grab some coffee and head out. The conductors are friendly and helpful on the train and in the main terminal.

Get a CTA ticket and ride the EL. Metra trains bring people in from the burbs and beyond. Hop on bus is good and the trolley last I checked was free
