Sand as far as you can see, unsafe for swimming but could watch the waves breaking for hours. even saw a turtle in the clear water.

amazing beach. water is so clear. we went here on a day trip with the quad bikes. defo worth a visit. it's not built up at all tho so bo toliets etc so if u do go there on an excursion make sure u use...More

Tide Very Strong not safe to swim - very windy too although beds and parasols available hardly anyone on the beach. Lookey Lookey men available if you want to walk to - not allowedon hotel complex

18Km of sand and sea - Nothing else there - pristine and undeveloped (at the moment). Stunning and beautiful. Giggling Geckos include this beach as part of their island tours, and I would thoroughly recommend a visit with them.

This beach was just stunning - will be a real shame when the builders move in! Lets hope they can keep it as it is for as long as possible.

is been destroy by building hotel , one place in Boa vista should been left and not touched . it was excellent in 2012 .

Beautiful long stretches of pure white soft sand. Unfortunately the Pacific Ocean is too rough to swim in. You can paddle though.

Has recently been voted 17th best beach in the world and you can see why, totally breathtaking, not really a swimmers beach as it’s normally red flagged because of the waves and strong current but you can still go in up-to waist deep to cool...More

The temperature doesn't vary much from month to month although January is the coldest month at about 23 degrees. In July it can be 28 degrees. Cape Verde is always windy so in January it feels a bit colder than 23. The... More

Hi The santa monica beach we visited is in Boa Vista Cape Verde, it is absolutley beautiful and unspoilt. I think its usually in the top 25 beaches in the world.
