Last minute decision to call in for Sunday lunch. Gorgeous roast beef and trimmings, amazing roast potatoes with impressive Yorkshire pudding. Definitely worth a visit, I know we are going to become regular Sunday diners.

Absolutely no atmosphere in this place. The lighting is blindingly bright ... like a doctors Surgery with badly kept beer, the Bar-Staff are not engaged at all, I asked the woman behind the Bar what draught beers were available and ended up with JW Lees...More

The "Toad" has been fully refurbished recently and with the exception of the odd remaining bit of finishing off, looks really good ... nice staff, good service ... but for some reason the myriad of hand-drawn beers were all off the menu .. so plugged...More

Not been for a while lovely outside bar seating area nice decor inside.. Sadly no atmosphere inside what so ever and dull barstaff

Called in en route to Restaurant, It was very noisy, with big screen Music Videos playing, which I would have found terrific for later in the evening, but at 7pm when the place was quite empty it was a little much. Prices are really good...More

It's ok. Could do with a bit of modernisation but has every drink you'd like, pool table, quiz nights and stuff. Wouldn't go out of my way to visit it though, I'm afraid.
