This is an interesting site geologically, and sees like a lot of fun for families! Kids can swim in an eddy of the river while adults soak in the perfectly hot pools. It was a bit crowded when we visited, but there are so many...More

These hot springs are really nice as they are connected to the river and there is a nice picnic/camping area. The only downside is the pools are not very big and it can get pretty crowded sometimes.

Amazing to sit in a shallow pool of warm mineral water and have a just-about-too-hot-but-actually-perfect temperature shower of water from the ledge above. Sit there and watch the river, and stop thinking for a while. Wonderful.

Lovely setting. One large tub in the campground, 4-5 smaller soaking areas down a walkway, by the river. The nicest tub holds about 5, but is only chest deep. One small pool, first you come to, has hot water shower cascading onto you as you...More

We just came to look, but ended up climbing all over the rocks and down to the hot springs pools. Rocks are slippery, but fun! Some of the pools are VERY hot, others, not so much. Campground not too full in September. Nice facility.

$5.00 fee covers parking. Beware very jagged rocks. You need to wear old sneakers or water shoes to walk down to the springs. Also, it gets packed fast and there is not enough springs; therefore, go before 10 am.

Have stopped here many times most recently on a rafting trip with Payette River Co. The BLM always turns the heat up when we arrive. Very relaxing. You can also camp or rv here.

Night time is the best time. Highly recommend camping at the Kirkham Campground or one of the other campgrounds close by.

The Hot Springs were hot but surprisingly crowded. Recommend seeing during a rafting trip with Payette Rafting Co.

Moderate difficulty. August flow ok. Heat about the same year round but might feel hotter in August.

Yes. Still accessible. There is a campground there that is open depending upon snow conditions. It is a short walk from the end of the camp to the hot springs.
