We had a great time at Silver Rapids. There are plenty of activities for every age in our family. The little slides are fun and adults can squeeze in them...the BIG slides are super fun and, with supervision, even the littles can go with you on them. The surf pool was faster than expected and offered a good challenge. The staff, which were all younger adults/teens, seemed to be very attentive to their job and were constantly on the move watching out for help needed at their stations.
Food was pretty expensive, but an awesome day for the whole family.

Came to this water park as we were staying at the Silver mountain resort. We had a wonderful time here! Great for a family with children of all ages. They have areas for small children/toddlers and areas for older children and adults. Some of the ares were closed off due to low occupancy but if you requested for it to be open they would send a life guard over and open it, which was great. The life guards seemed to be watching swimmers very well.
We had a great time and hope to come back again.

This water park is good for taking children 1 yr old to 15 years old. It is a good place for families to interact with each other. Adults by themselves will probably have enough after a few hours, but with the children it's just fun. The facility is clean, well kept and a fun atmosphere. We came 2 years ago with one of our children's family and came back with all our kids and their families.

Rented a condo suite and it was stated that Waterpark access was part of the stay. I quickly learned that I did not book directly through the lodge and Waterpark access was 42 per person. Another slap in the face is they claimed they were sold out for non guests ? However there was very few people in the Waterpark.
They claimed that guests that booked directly through the park were priority and can come and go, therefore there might be very few people in the park they cannot sell us (my family of three) tickets.
My son was pretty let down as the reason we rented the condo was for him to go to the Waterpark.
I will not come back. F this place.

The flower rider instructors were very patient and high energy (Kevin taught us a lot and is very enthusiastic about his job). Our entire family enjoyed the 2 days we spent at the water park. The raft rides were awesome! Both days the kids played so hard they slept like rocks. Great perk of staying at the resort (the accommodations themselves leave some things to be desired). But the water park was fantastic.

Limited things to do. Two small slides and two faster but short slides. Only one challenge at the surf station. Most water park sprinkler fountains that were hardly being used. (The free water park in CDA is much nicer. ). Mostly for under ten year olds. The lazy river is very short. Hamburgers around $10 each with fries about $5 more. Bring your own towel the ones provided were worthless rags.

It is a nice water park. The kids had a lot of fun on the wave rider. Only 2 single rider slides available. I think there could be more. Lazy River was fun. Food was expensive. Also, it was loud. Way too loud for anything but shouted conversation. Didn't stay at the hotel, but I think that is what we are doing next time we come here.

Where is a real pool? Just a bunch of water attractions of interest to 8 year olds. There is a bar and hot tubs, but the lazy river was truly very lazy, and the water jets weak. Noisy snide a tin building., lacking any thing to give it a bit of pizazz.

Waterpark passes came with our stay at the lodge. The kids LOVED it. They had a great time on the water slides and the lazy river. They spent a lot of time trying the surf pool.

My girlfriend and I purchased a package deal thru Silver Mountain, that included two nights in the water park and a day of white water rafting for four hundred bucks. We purchased this in may 2009 as a gift for my girlfriend's mother's 50th birthday. Upon arrival at the Morning Star Lodge, we were informed that Silver Mountain and Row Adventures (the rafting company) had split up in June and cancelled the package deal (without informing anyone) and that we needed to pay an extra 400 dollars than originally planned. We were never informed of any splitting up of services or anything until our arrival, in which Silver Mountain did nothing about. No discounts, no offers, not a coupon or anything a normal hotel would extend when totally screwing up your visit. All we recieved was a "were so so sorry" and the option to cancel our reservation. I will not ever stay, or attempt to stay there again, summer nor winter, no water park and no skiing.

Are there any parts of the waterpark that are excluded from the stay and play package? If so what does the package include?
Written 2 July 2018
Think it was called the stay and swim package when we went. No restriction on swim package due to price. Ride restrictions due to height/age primarily on the surf wave machine. Lockers were extra but not pricey. Food extra but many seemed to BYO. A good plan as the lines and speed for food at the grill was far from great.

What activities are there for a 15 year-old ikder subling who may not be as interested in the waterpark?
