This hot springs resort has all the charms of yesteryear with modern amenities like tv, heaters, and a/c. We stayed in one of the yurts, which was super cute and cozy, with a firm bed. The restaurant food was homestyle and great. The bathroom floors...More
The most frustrating thing was that days before our trip, as we prepared for shopping, we had called to inquire about our rental. We asked if the small cabin came with a kitchen because the website was not specific. When we told the employee we...More
We were at Downata for part of a family reunion. We stayed in the big cabin (sleeps 12) and played at the pool the next day. We had people from late 60’s to 4 years old.

The cabin we stayed in was small, comfy, and cozy, unfortunately the service was not. The town seemed to be shut down(many "For Sales signs), so bring your own groceries/sundries because the closest somewhat stocked store is about half an hr away. There wasn't much...More
We completely enjoyed our weekend getaway. Kids enjoyed a stay in a teepee and hot springs. The food was medicore with pizza and hamburgers, but we loved the ice cream and speciality floats. The campground was friendly and variety for the kids to play volleyball,...More
