This is a great family friendly place to visit. We went mid-week in late August and it wasn’t crowded at all. The location is treed, remote and beautiful, with the pools varying in temperature, getting cooler towards the bottom. The second pool has a white...More

Once you maneuver through a beautiful windy dirt road, you come upon this little gem. In the woods, across from a river. Odd but cool

Totally love this place!! Dirt road for about 4 miles, and there is no cold water options on site. They do sell bottled water for a fair price. Rustic, but nice! Relaxing!

Nice cascading pools of varying temperatures. Good area for picnics. The road is graveled and dusty, but very scenic.

Definitely the nicest hot springs in the area and closest to McCall. 6 different pools in varying temperatures ranging from “near boiling” at the very top (seriously too hot to get in) to refreshingly cool at the very bottom. A temp suitable for everyone. Plenty...More

Came here three times and enjoyed each experience, for different reasons. Crowds change from hour to hour and this changes the experience depending on who is there. The upper pools are the nicest ones but they are pretty darned hot. The middle pool is just...More

I still dream about this place. We went a few times in the winter. Yes the dirt road is a little scary, but we have a minivan that did just fine. Being in the warm water with snow all around and the stars shining so...More

Vacationing in Cascade Idaho at our cabin for almost 40 years, we did not know of this fantastic hot springs in the Donnelly mountain area! The drive to it is an experience but when you park and walk up to the check in, the world...More

I found the experience not worth the drive or cost. The pools were dirty (went on a Sunday). The road is horrible and you could wind up with car repairs afterward. The owner is unresponsive to phone messages or emails. The owner will close the...More

I really want to give this place 5 stars because the water and pools were awesome. BUT this is why I only gave it 2. Mother with infant in diapers in lower pool gives baby to dad because “he’s stinky, I need another diaper” who...More

A great place to stay is about 7 miles away in the town of Cascade. The Ashley Inn is a great place to use as base camp after a day of hiking or soaking. My family loves its warmth and charm!

We liked the Best Western In McCall. It's a little further than Donnelly, but it's very centrally located for vacationing.
