Wonder, peaceful. Hospitality plus. Do not miss the monastery tour or the museum. Our dinner in Keuterville was great and a short side trip to the mighty Salmon River was so worthwhile. Our room had a very comfy bed, all good.

We stopped here with a large family. It was very expensive, even for the children to get into the museum. They do have a lovely collection of local and national artifacts, but it’s not very well maintained (dusty/musty/disheveled) or organized. There’s not much logic to...More

Definitely worth the stop to visit the grounds, the museum, and tour the Monastery to learn of its history, for Catholics and non-Catholics alike. If you have time for an overnight visit, be sure to stay at the Inn!

By taking an unplanned side trip off the highway to explore the monastery, we were taken by surprise at the beauty and tranquility of this retreat house. As an added bonus, the bells tolled announcing Sunday Mass which we attended.

The Monastery of St. Gertrude is off the beaten track and well worth a visit. It is still an active monastery with regular retreats, a bed and breakfast, and an incredible historical museum. The peace, quiet, and beauty of the area will overwhelm you.

I love the Monastery of St Gertrude! One of the most beautiful places on earth. Museum open daily & free chapel tours.

I love the museum and there are nuns there to help you find what you would like to see. It is great and goes way back in history.

You will want to put this on your calendar for next August--the Raspberry Festival at Saint Gertrude's Monastery. There was raspberry everything. Tons of people found their way through the wheat fields. My favorite activity was the tour of the chapel. One of the Benedictine...More
