Visited the museum during hols in the lakes, didn’t really have high expectations but very pleasantly surprised! The main building is crammed with cars motorbikes, bikes and motor related items. The Campbell exhibits and lots of unusual motorcycles and cars to view although the café was a little overpriced it hsd a lovely view point on the veranda

We called in not expecting too much as it's in the middle of nowhere but what a display they have, If your a petrol head it's well worth a visit just to look around they have a good display of motorbikes as well, the highlight...More

Not the biggest museum. But plenty to see including an exhibition on the Campbell's (bluebird land and water speed records). Definitely worth visiting.

Nice selection of cars but all packed tightly. Takes about an hour to get round. The cambell bluebird exhibition is separate but really interesting.

Yes. There was a couple when we were there. I think if they're well behaved and on a leash they're welcome.
