We were having dinner in Rome and were looking for things to do and stumbles upon this Cemetery and I'm so glad we did. There is so much history there and some amazing stones/tombs to see. I wish we would have had more time to...More

This cemetery is an architectural gem. It winds around a hill in the city of Rome, Ga. Something to see and aporeciats. I believe I read President Woodrow Wilsons wife was buried here.

No matter where I am traveling too, if it has an old cemetery I have to go! This one did not disappoint. The entire cemetery is located on top and around a hill to keep from being flooded from the rivers below, which definitely adds...More

Well administered and cared for by the City of Rome in cooperation with the families of the deceased. Tours of the cemetery are frequent with excellent guides sharing information about some of Rome's outstanding and historically significant former citizens. Recommend the tour.

Great place to visit to get the feel of the people who lived in Rome. Some notables are buried her, like a first lady of the United States, and grandparents of a Rock Start. (go and explorfe to find out)

Beautiful and well keep cemetery with a great view of the surrounding area. Walking amongst the various family plots gives a nice overview of the community make-up from the mid-1800's on.
