The museum section is interactive and quite informative, although small. It was interesting to watch the doctor and vet techs work on a turtle’s injuries live, narrated. It was also great to see the turtle patients in their tanks. I recommend being there for a...More

The Georgia Sea Turtle Center was very educational and hands-on. My 7 year old daughter and I enjoyed watching the turtle feedings and loved watching a snake and a turtle get medical care. It was really interesting to see a snake get a shot!

We took our boys here while on the island. A little pricey, but totally worth it. The boys loved the activities and we all learned a great deal about the organization and its mission. Thankful these folks are doing what they do.

Lovely staff! Such a great time with the kids, learned a lot. Thought the ticket price was a little high until I realized all the money goes into funding the sea turtle initiatives.

We just moved here and this was fascinating! Very family friendly place to visit at a reasonable price. It was just my husband and I and we only had an hour and that wasn’t long enough to fully enjoy it all. Will go back with...More

Absolutely!! Plenty of hands-on educational exhibits. And if you can set it up at just the right time, the kids can be there for a turtle feeding and possibly even watch Dr. Norton and his staff caring for a turtle!
