Just a short walk from the parking area to the beachfront. Large driftwood deposits all over the beach. Great photo opportunity for sure.

I love driftwood, so when I found a beach with that name, I just had to see it for myself! Unfortunately, signs are posted that you are not allowed to take any driftwood away from the beach. But that didn't ruin the experience at all...More

When we ride bikes on the beach we always pass by here. Be sure to plan your visit around low tide. The driftwood offers nice photo opportunities. By foot it’s easily accessed from Clam Creek Park.

This is not a beach for swimming. But it’s worth spending a half hour — admire and explore the driftwood, take photos and pick up rocks and seashells, write in the sand. Even the sullen preteen enjoyed himself a little.

This beach was so peaceful and the driftwood looked like art. Lots of photo opportunities and the view as the sun went down was very romantic. It’s a nice hidden gem along the coast.

We always enjoy a walk along Driftwood when visiting Jekyll and have just ‘discovered’ a new twist. My suggestion, if you fancy a decent circular walk (approx 3 miles I guess) is to park at the normal entry point and then walk the full length...More

We always visit this beach when we are here. Although it was very windy, everyone had a great time walking the beach, climbing on the rocks and driftwood.

Enjoyed birding from the boardwalk and marveling at the huge trees, now driftwood, on this beach. It is a wonderful place to walk early in the morning.

We checked out Driftwood Beach. I have been there before and the hurricanes the past couple of weeks have changed it but not ruined it. Always fascinating. If you go to Jeckyll, check it out.

There are two areas for parking right by the pathways that lead to the beach. We went during Spring Break and had no issues finding a spot.
