Hurricane Irma did her worst and it took a toll on this lovely beach. The breaker has been dragged back out to sea and the drift wood has been shoved around. A few live trees have succumbed as well becoming future drift wood themselves. The...More

Went to the driftwood beach during midday - it's surprisingly pleasant. Nice breeze from the sea and the sand is fine to walk on. The driftwood definitely made this beach very special and I think an episode of Walking Dead is filmed here? Popular wedding...More

One on the prettiest places I've ever been. Great place to take pictures. You can sit for hours and enjoy the peace and beauty.

Incredibly beautiful beach. Was expecting pieces of driftwood but were actually entire trees. A must see.

Too bad the signs saw not to swim here so mostly lovely for walking with views of the ocean, and Saint Simon's Island.

What a great place to enjoy nature. Let the kids enjoy a fun time in a natural playground. Pick up shells, run your dogs and then go enjoy something to eat at a nearby restaurant on exclusive Jekyll Island.

The only reason I put 4 dots instead of 5 was the trash on the beach. I know it's hard to keep people from being stupid...

We were pleasantly surprised that a beach littered with the remains of hurricane and storm damage could look so beautiful. The old trees were weathered and made for some nice photos. It was a pleasant place to walk along the beach.

There are two areas for parking right by the pathways that lead to the beach. We went during Spring Break and had no issues finding a spot.
