I eat at Waffle Houses all over the south. The employees are always so friendly and look like the love working for WH. The museum was a culmination of many years of WH experiences.

An absolute, but hours open are restrictive. I enjoyed learning more history about Waffle House and their 1st location in Avondale Estates.

Went here to waste time and ended up ordering a burger which I didn't really want but did eat. It was standard for the price. Quick service. Friendly staff. Would go again.

This is the site of the very first Waffle House restaurant. One side is fixed up to look just as it did when it opened in the 1950s, including photo ops to pose at the grill or waffle irons. You can pick up souvenir menus...More

You better call their corporate office or email them. Unless you have a large group and schedule an opening, I would doubt that they would be open. It is rare that they are open by chance. That would be my suggestion.
