As a hatchery goes, this is a good one. Clean, great short trails for exploring nature with little ones. Staff was friendly. We had hoped to go fishing, but the pond was full of little green pods. Might visit it again during a cooler season.

The fishing pond has been changed to a wildlife viewing area, fishing is no longer a good option. The pond is a Trout waste water settling pond, and is NOT a good place for catching fish.

A great place for kids of all ages to see the wonders of a trout hatchery. From big to small and all sizes in between. Make sure to toss in some of the feed found along the edges of the tanks!

We took our three young grandsons, and they loved it. You can feed the fish and they go wild for the food ( given to us by the attendant).

If you are a fisherman, you will be amazed at what has to happen to maintain the trout population. Workers are very helpful with information.

Took our grandson there today. In fairness, when we checked for instructions, we were told about the duck weed and fishing would be very difficult. But we were there and had our fishing equipment. Nice big lake covered with this duck weed. Also it was...More
