Facilities are very good for a county park, including water, boat launches, bathrooms, life guards on the ocean and bridges over the islands on the waterway. Wildlife is prevalent, most notably the manatees and the birds.

This park on the lagoon was a pleasant surprise. There is ample parking and a raised boardwalk through the mangroves. Luckily we were able to see multiple manatees up close. We were there on a beautiful day in January 2019.

You will see Manatee, Birds, Dolphin and so much more. A beautiful, short walk through a lovely spot. Totally worth it.

First time coming to round island. The view of the coves are breathtaking and, like many other visitors, you can’t beat the dolphin and manatee sightings! Little trails along the shore within the vegetation are near too!

We have been to Vero for years and this was our first visit to this park. We got lucky and saw five manatees! The park is free as is the parking. We will certainly return on our next visit.

I live on the treasure coast and love to go to the beach at Round Island park! The beach is guarded, clean and very wide. Also you can wade far out as it is not too deep here. Across the street is the intercostal side....More

Island Adventure actually runs tours, around $50-60 as I recall. For Round Island, it is pretty easy to self guide, if you are comfortable with kayaks. I have had good luck with Orchid Island for bike and kayak rentals... More

No, sorry. There are only toilet facilities there. Everyone that uses a kayak there has brought them on a trailer.
