We have been to HR Tampa several times this year (and previous years). This year we have consistently won (from $800 - $1,800 ahead per visit). Rooms were very clean, casino not so much. Bad experiences with restaurants' food. I did contact HR about the food.

Overall good but POOR SERVICE at L Bar. Monday service was goof but today has been seating 45 min and the bartender passed. U putting menus on the tables and didnt even looked at me. So keep on waiting and problably will leave in few minutes. Please it just take few min to pass thru the tables to sell drinks and give good service!

Beautiful place, seeing all the memorabilia was awesome! Rooms are nice but not $800 nice, smoke bothered me. Even though they have non smoking areas, the smoke lingers throughout. Slots were the worst I’ve ever seen.

Large casino with lots and lots of games. Restaurants all had waiting lines. Smoking is allowed. There are several areas within the casino and easy to get turned around in there. Parking garage next to the casino and also across the street. Long walk from the parking to the casino. Use valet parking if possible. They are fast and courteous. Overall, we had a great time and would go again. Rivals any casino in Vegas.

The people are wonderful and well trained. The hotel needs to move into post Covid. I had to request housekeeping service! Yep! When I called down for a bellman - it will be 15-30 minutes. At no point during my stay was I told by the hotel expect long waits at check out and order your bell help early anticipate an up to 30 minute wait. Coffee utensils were sub par - I would expect these at a Holiday Inn Express or Fairfield Inn, not a large suite at Hard Rock. Bottom line 3 star hotel, 5 star team members

The larger casino is very smoky. I was in three different casinos in the last month and this was on only one that was so smoky we could not stay. Ironically we didn't see many people smoking. So it seems to be a ventilation issue. The smoke free casino seems to have higher priced entry level slots, so we did not enjoy playing there. Overall we were very disappointed with what looked like a beautiful casino.

I went here with my family to do a little gambling. I’m not really a gambler, and probably my review is not going to be the best for somebody who is an avid casino dweller. Nonetheless, I found the food at the place to be good but very expensive. Expect paying well over $20 for just a small plate of fajitas. Nachos are almost $20. A basic chicken sandwich is $17. Everything is expensive considering usually when you’re in a casino, Things are a little cheaper since they are making money off you. Not here. There are absolutely no places for you to sit unless you’re gambling or at the restaurants. The slot machines don’t have particularly good odds. We went through about $80 in a matter of 30 minutes. I would say the odds are about the same as you would get in New Vegas. I was not really impressed with the place. If there was any competition in the area, probably the odds and prices would be better. I don’t think they serve free drinks if you’re gambling either. I saw someone serving soft drinks, but that was about it

I go to the Hard Rock about one a month. Since I came here in 2020 the place has gone downhill big time. It seems I can only win a jackpot if I don't use my card which is rare now. I loose way more than I win. The food in the restaurants is good but way too expensive !!! They need to make more spaces for non smokers other than the non smoking area upstairs. The smoking areas are ridiculous.. full of smoke. I walked by a blackjack table and the poor dealer is inhaling smoke which was directly being blown into her face. My husband and I went yesterday put a total of 650 dollars in one machine and never even won a free game !!!! We left. It's just crazy. Oh one other issue was they send you a flier in the mail for promos. I received the flier on Thursday and the promo for a free bottle of liquor was held on Saturday of the same week. I called to reserve it and it was sold out. I explained how am I supposed to reserve it in time if I just received it in the mail? I then asked to use the free room for 2 days. "Oh we don't have any free rooms available right now but we can give you a discount in a room." Yea ok this has happened to me twice. I'm going to Biloxi next.
