We went at high tide and there was nothing calm about this beach. There was a significant amount of sea vegetation in the water and sand - and when I say significant, I mean it. It was painful to stand in the water because of...More

It was a nice visit to Bathtub Beach, however I would not recommend coming here if you enjoy swimming in the ocean. It was so rocky that my son and I were actually hurting ourselves trying to get out far enough to avoid rocks. We...More

Safe beach haven, nicely kept. Nice parking lot and very safe for children. At low tide it literally is a bathtub.

This is one of the calmer beaches in the area. The waves are small and kids can play here pretty safely.

Beautiful beach, lots of parking and restrooms nearby. Not sure who is throwing their trash and cigarettes on the beach but please stop. Lots of see weed comes on the beach at times which makes going into the water difficult. Lots of 🐚 to be...More

We had a great afternoon snorkeling at Bathtub Reef. Wasn't sure what we were going to see but saw a lot of parrotfish, angelfish, and wrasse. I also saw a number of snook - wasn't prepared for how large they would be! Make sure you...More

It's a small beach, but does have two lifeguard stands. It's shallow towards the closed end and offers some snorkeling opportunities. Clear water with some protection from the pounding waves because of the reef that parallels the shore a short distance offshore. A great beach...More

There is an open air shower right next to the parking lot to rinse off, but probably not good for a full shower. Also at the far end of the parking lot are large Port-o-lets. There is not a bathhouse or indoor restrooms.
