Lovely beaches in st Augustine. They are clean and the sea has good waves which meant there were lots of surfers, great fun watching them all

South of F street and north of Pope rd. Some of the prettiest beaches on the east coast! The seabreeze keeps it cool in the summer. Look for easterly winds and enjoy!

Had a great time walking along the beach with our two dogs who love the water. Not very crowded (on a Sunday morning) Parking was super easy and convenient.

The beach is nice and wide at low tide, and good for walking or bicycling. For a dollar you can walk out on the pier and get a nice view. Unfortunately when we were there the water was brown. Even the sea foam was brown....More

I was very, very disappointed with St. Augustine Beach. The beach is just like any other but the walk-up was atrocious. Giant piles of trash were stacked up everywhere. We were there during the week so I feel like the city had ample time to...More

We watched the solar eclipse from here and it was a good choice of venue as the kids loved playing in the sand and running in and out the warm sea. Lovely long stretches of sand so even though there were lots of people there,...More

Not one of the narrow little beaches you find up and down the coast, St. Augustine Beach offers a nice wide strand with a gradual drop off rather than a sudden change. Not only is the beach nice, but the people of St. Augustine are...More

I live on the beach and yes I have seen snakes. They ARE in the grass and I walked right by one that was half on the walkway and half in the grass...If you can try, don't walk there... My complex has signs all over and I... More

There was no boardwalk that I saw. There is a pier you can go out on for a fee. Small shop at the end of the pier amd some shops along the road. Also lots of places in town. Have fun, I enjoyed our stay.
