Great for families or couples. You can drive on part of the beach but need four wheel drive. When the waves are up, good for surfing and boogie boarding.

We went late afternoon/evening time and it was nice. Not too crowded. Not a great seashell beach but pleasant.

Clean beach, white sand, gorgeous dunes. The top of the beach is hard packed and cars are able to drive in a designated area on the sand along the beach. I'm not sure if you're able to drive along the whole beach, but where we...More

We enjoyed walking the pier and watching the fisherman. We spent every morning walking the beach. Wasn't congested and beautiful sun rises.

The stretch of beach on Anastasia Island near the condo we rented was so soft and clean. When the tide is out, there are tide pools where young children can safely play, and the hard packed sand is perfect for riding bikes. It was our...More
