You get a lively impressions about the way of life on an estate during the colonial period. Hard to believe how they treated slaves at those times. Actually a must see.

The guided visit is a must to understand the story of the island and a bit of the esclavage history. Really really worth it. Our guide was called Jean-Marie and we really enjoyed his explanation.

You cannot come to La Réunion and miss this museum which is offering you the only way to understand the island’s history. Ask for Patrick for your guided tour.
