We had just finished reading the last of the Harry Potter books. Harry Potter world, as my kids call it, blew us away! Everything was spot on what we imagined in our minds as we read the books. It all came to life and was...More
Brilliant experience, loved Diagon Alley and Hogsmead, the ride in Hogwarts was brilliant too, we even traveled on the train between them. Try the butter beer and there is a great game for children to play with their wands
Absolutely love Harry Potter world! They have the best rides and the interactive adventures with the wands is great. The whole attention to detail is just amazing - from the castle to the hologram characters that make you feel you are part of the scene....More
I am not a big Harry Potter fan by any means but this part of Universal is awesome! The castle has some cool effects and art, makes you feel like you are in the movie. Hogwarts express between the parks is an added bonus. I...More

I agree with all comments above. And it depends on the ride waiting time. Make sure you get a fast pass. It's great to see it at night and be there for the evening fireworks show over the castle at 10 p.m.
The earlier you go the better lines are for the rides. If you focus only on Harry Potter in both parks you can definitely do them in a day just make sure you have a hopper pass that allows you to take the Hogwarts Express... More

If you focus only on Harry Potter in both parks you can definitely do them in a day just make sure you have a hopper pass that allows you to take the Hogwarts Express. If you get the rides out of the way you can definitely do the town and all the attractions and food.

We visited in August, the lines were ok. The beauty of the Harry Potter section is that there is so much to look at and enjoy without waiting for the queues to get smaller. The interactive wand thing is great for all ages. The shops are very cool too, you can buy everything from Cloaks to butterbeer. I am not a Harry Potter fan, because I am 43, however, seeing my kids go crazy at all of the things there made me very happy and glad to be there. We spent 3 days out of ten here and my kids would have gone everyday if they could.
