Overall magical
Jun 2021 • Family
This was my first time going to Disney World and I just turned 40. We took our kids 10, 7, 4. We all loved it except for wearing masks outside while in line. It was so hot, and most of the time everyone wasn’t wearing them unless an employee was around enforcing it. Wish we could’ve seen more characters, and more rides were open. They did a good job of getting everyone through lines quickly. We loved eating at Liberty Tavern, they hands down have the BEST pot roast I’ve ever had in my life. Overall it was magical, I’m glad we got to experience it.

Magical experience, but don't order the cheeseburgers
Jun 2021
My family are experienced Disney park ninjas. We've been going every other year or so since the kids were in diapers, they're 25, 20, & 18 now. We spent the entire day at the Magic Kingdom on June 1, 2021. Overall it was magical, I would have given it a 5 out of 5 if it weren't for the reservation and mask nonsense. You should know we go to this park for the magic not the thrill. Both Universal parks and SeaWorld have all the thrills you'll need. If we could only go to one Disney Park, Magic Kingdom would be it, Epcot is a very close second. Must do's: Space Mountain, Thunder Mtn, Splash Mtn, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Small World, Buzz Lightyear, Jungle Cruise and Carousel of Progress. There are others of course, especially if your kids are very young but the thrill to wait time ratio simply isn't there for my family. The only negative thing that happened was with the food. We ordered cheeseburgers in Frontier Land and they may have been the worst amusement park burgers we've ever had, it was almost comical because no one wanted to admit that they were bad until later when we had left the park, then everyone confessed how bad they were. No one wanted to taint the magical day we had. I'm looking forward to taking my grandkids some day. I'll come back when the mask and reservation nonsense is over.

Great park with the classic rides
May 2021
The best park for kids under 10 and kids 10-75. This is the classic park with the classic rides. We just love coming here. You have to take transportation from the parking lot. There are 3 choices; Monorail, Ferry or walking. We haven't done the walk, but as for the other two, we prefer the monorail. The monorail was bypassing the Polynesian Resort due to the renovation of the monorail station there. The rides at Magic Kingdom were all great as usual and we even got a nice view of the progress on the Tron ride from the People Mover! We love Magic Kingdom and will return as soon as we can!

Magical to say the least!
Jun 2021
This was my first time here. I went for my 30th birthday. What an amazing experience. This place makes you feel like a kid again. The staff was so friendly and fun. The rides were great and I lucked out because the mask mandate was lifted for the outdoors a few days before I got there. I was bummed to not get to meet the characters because of social distancing but they still were out and about in the parades and just randomly. I can't wait to go back!

Disappointed
Jun 2021 • Friends
My friends and I visited the park Monday June 7th. Of course it was packed despite the reservation requirement, which was expected. However, many things were closed or they simple did not do them. For example, there is no fireworks show anymore, which was a huge disappointment! Also Thunder Mountain was not running. There was some little parades but there was no interaction with the characters. There was socially distanced photo opportunities with a very few bit not the experience normally felt at Magic Kingdom. Very disappointing.

Not worth the money right now!
Jun 2021 • Family
I’ve been multiple times throughout my life. I won’t be back until they fully re-open. Many of the shops and restaurants were still closed. We had to wear mask while waiting in line for rides even if we were outside. Most of the attractions had the same theme, not as many lights as usual and not very cool inside. I felt like I couldn’t breathe in line at space mountain because there was no air inside the building where we waited in line. We belong to the vacation club so this was trip 24 or 25 for us. The darkness of the rides coupled with little to no AC on most attractions felt
Like a big waste of money. I also felt that way about memory maker. Hardly any photographers around this time. If Disney is only running half the power and half of their man power, why did we pay full price? 🤔

Wonderful!

We had a great time in Magic Kingdom! This was my first trip and it didn’t disappoint. Even with the restrictions in place the park did its best at keeping everything moving fast and clean.

Great grandkids first visit
Jun 2021
They were all excited to go to the parks but I think it was overwhelming for them. It was hot and the lines were long 45-60 per ride they wanted to go on. We never saw one Disney character the whole time we were there which may have made a difference.

Impossible Not to Have Fun Here
Jun 2021
Got lucky with a mostly sunny day on my honeymoon at Magic Kingdom. Hubby and I had a great time - went on almost all the rides we were interested in and saw the park from an adult perspective. My one thing that I will say is that kids might not have as much fun here right now because of COVID rules - can't meet most of the characters. As an adult however, it's totally fine and a wonderful experience. I do wish there was a shuttle from here to Disney Springs though. Tip: make sure you make reservations if you want to eat at any of the dine-in places!

COVID Rules Don't Make Sense
Jun 2021 • Family
Pros: The rides we went on were amazing. Our family's favorites were Mickey Philharmagic, Peter Pan, It's a Small World, Buzz Light-year, Dumbo, Carousel of Progress, Little Mermaid, and Pirates of the Caribbean. The castle was beautiful of course. Most employees were polite and helpful. My little ones were happy to see Mickey and his gang of friends. Liberty Tree Tavern served delicious food! The landscaping was beautiful, and everything was clean.

Cons: It was disappointing that the trolleys weren't running to take people from the parking lots. This makes no sense as there would be no difference in this and the rides. We did not enjoy the Swiss Family Treehouse or Tom Sawyer ride and regretted ever going on them. We found the dining situation ridiculous. The mobile ordering was designed to be convenient, but it didn't work on my phone... just like reserving a dining table and checking in did not either. My parents who went with is are not tech savvy and this really frustrated them as well... Picture 2 little kids crying they are hungry, being very very hot and hungry, and trying to figure out how to order food or reserve a table in a crowded area out in the sun where it would have been much easier to just go in and order. The price of food and drinks was shockingly high. It was $21 for my 6 year old who ate maybe 1/2 cup of Mac and cheese and 1 roll. A lot of the rides were closed, no character meetings for pictures, and we were really hoping to see Elsa and Moana but did not. It was also disappointing that there was no fireworks or parades still. I'm not sure what the difference between doing these things and all the other super congested areas would have been.

Overall Our children enjoyed themselves, and we will probably return because of that. However, the adults in my family spent more of the day being frustrated than we would have liked.
