Health and safety concerns
Jul 2021 • Family
We usually love Epcot! Prior to COVID my family visited on average twice a year. This was our first trip back and we were highly disappointed with the health and safety standards in place. It seems the park was under staffed and over crowded. Specifically the ride Soarin required long waits in an enclosed forum (small tunnels with minimal ventilation). No one was required to wear masks at the time and social distancing was NOT enforced. This created a high risk atmosphere in what should have been a family friendly magical place. My husband who continues to work front line throughout this pandemic was appalled and would have stopped to warn management if he hadn’t been so anxious trying to get my children out to some fresh air. I hope Disney management looks into this health and safety risk further as its policies are lacking and concerning to medical workers.

Awesome experience at Disney Epcot. Excellent customer service for everyone I spoke with in the park. Fireworks at the end of the evening was spectacular!!! Would certainly spend my time again at Epcot.

Wait!!!!
Jul 2021 • Family
EPCOT was always one of my favorite parks, but I visited it yesterday and really was disappointed. Test Track was down for most of the day. The restaurants in the various countries closed hours before the park closed. I guess they can't get enough people to cover being able to stay open late. I suggest staying away from Disney until all covid restrictions are ended and life is back to normal.

my entire family was dissapointed with this park, i don't understand its appeal. you walk around a bunch of fake worlds, and go to their gift shops to spend money. it was a major waste of time and money.

It’s a complete waste of money unless you want to just walk all day with nothing to do but eat.
Jul 2021 • Family
This was a huge disappointment. For $126 a ticket I would expect so much more. The majority of the park is walking. There are just a handful of actual things to do which we’re underwhelming to say the least. I kept walking and walking looking for fun things to do and there was hardly anything The rest are just food and a few little shops. It pales in comparison to the magic kingdom which has excitement and plenty to see and do as soon as you arrive. The one redeeming quality was the one place they were able to make a allergy free meal for my son. Other then that I would never ever waste my money on Epcot again amd wouldn’t recommend it at all.

Thank you for stopping by to leave a review on your recent visit to Epcot. I'm sorry to read that this Park wasn't your cup of tea and you didn't find a lot to entertain you throughout the day. I do understand your concerns about your visit. When you enter a Walt Disney World Theme Park, you expect to be transported to a magical world where you have no worries other than what to do next. I apologize that this wasn't your experience during your visit. Currently, there is a lot of work that is going on all at once at Epcot. This work will be bringing new and exciting experiences to our Guests that will undoubtedly become fan favorites for years to come. I truly hope that you will come for a future visit after this work is complete and let us know your thoughts about all of our new additions. Thank you again and I hope we will have to opportunity to welcome you again real soon. Betty Disney Social Review

Would not recommend. Overpriced underwhelming.
Jul 2021 • Friends
Came yesterday, started off the day with a few rides, was cute but nothing exciting or worth the admission price. The next few hours we walked around world showcase, which is basically a moneymaking attraction. There was very little to actually do. The park felt more like a museum with a bunch of restaurants and souvenir shops. The only thing that made this day not totally ruined was test track. Awesome ride. Followed by the gorgeous fireworks display. This park is okay for half day if you have a ton of money to kill, but I will not be back. Another issue is half the park is blocked off by walls and it’s impossible to figure out how to get anywhere. Kept bumping into dead ends on the wrong side.

While I'm disheartened to see your overall disappointment with this Theme Park, it's also nice to know there were some highlights that carried you throughout your day. I know there are many changes afoot around this locale currently and they're sure to bring new innovation and fun to our future. We try to do as much as possible to impact our Guests as little as possible, however, I am truly sorry for the lackluster visit you had. Rest assured, the beauty of World Showcase alongside the excitement of Future World are sure to provide all our Guests with a unique individual experience as you hopefully explore us again in the future. Thank you so much for sharing your insights and leaving this review. Brie Disney Social Reviews

It was okay.

Epcot was the best of the Disney parks for our visit. We usually love Epcot but with all the construction it made it hard to enjoy. We didn't have issues finding food for lunch, but the world showcase seemed pretty empty and sad. We got to ride Soren twice with was super fun. We had to wait in a very long and hot line for Test Track. There was no shade at all and in the hot July sun it was a miserable wait. The employees were all super friendly so that was nice. I would not recommend returning to Epcot until the construction eases up as it really takes away from the experience.

It seems like this visit was a mix of ups and downs, so I'm really glad you took some time to share with us. There are a lot of learnings for us here as we continue to navigate our offerings and processes. Epcot is certainly going through a growing phase right now, with lots of exciting changes on the way. This can mean some frustration in the meantime which I am very sorry impacted your visit. Please know we value our Guests' feedback and it's led to some of the best improvements we've had over the years. I hope we'll welcome you back when this phase is complete so you can experience all the joy, wonder, and excitement of Epcot! Brie Disney Social Reviews

Worst EVER.
Jul 2021 • Family
Unless you want to pay for entry into a large food court don’t go. This is was the worst experience i ever had with an “amusement” park. Their app also doesn’t work properly for those that purchase tickets outside of the Disney app. I had to link the tickets and reserve the day and the reservation never actually went through resulting in my family being forced into the worst park which is a food court posing as an amusement park. Disney is OVERRATED.

I'm sorry to hear your day at Epcot left you feeling disappointed, Mikal. While your travels brought you to the Park during Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, I'm disheartened to hear that the festival left your adventures around the World Showcase with much to be desired. Additionally, it is disappointing to read of the challenges you experienced with the My Disney Experience app, which prevented you from being able to the Theme Park you were most interested in. I apologize for the disappointment these challenges caused you and your family. Should you ever experience challenges linking your tickets or making your Disney Park Pass reservations, our Cast Members are always available to assist whether it's reaching out by phone or chat. Please be assured your comments will be shared with the appropriate teams to see where improvements can be made to our Guests experiences. I truly appreciate you sharing your review. With many new Attractions and dining options on the horizon for this Park, I hope one day you and your family will consider coming back for another visit once the reimagining is complete. Should be called Food & Libation Festival
Jul 2021 • Couples
As long-time Epcot Food and Wine (F&W) fans, we were kind of shocked that Epcot would start this year’s festival in July....in Florida. We hesitantly went last year in August, and thought that was also too hot for an outdoor food and liquor fest.

We had made a few special dinner reservations and spent a few nights at WDW, so we thought we would give the festival a shot. We arrived on a Thursday (July 22) and decided to stop by Epcot around 6pm. We were surprised how crowded the booths were for a Thursday. The end of the line for the France food kiosk was on the bridge. There were several booths that were up but not operational (these 8 booths open Oct 1). We had a reservation at Le Cellier at the Canada Pavilion and when we came out of the restaurant it was just finishing a heavy rain, so some of the lines were not as bad. This was after 8 pm.

We returned the next day, around 1130, but it was too hot and we left after only 2 hours. Over the last 24 hours the stayed between mid-80’s to upper 90’s, so our initial interest to find some of the foods we were interested in such as hot noodles, soup or chili, did not really appeal to us after the first hour walking around. We also noticed that most of the tables that were spread out everywhere from the Flower Festival were now gone, and the tables left are mostly in the sun. Most people were eating on trashcans.

We were very disappointed in the wine selection, or rather, the lack of a wine selection. There is now more beer than wine offered of this festival. At this year’s festival, there are 48 beers offered, 42 wines offered, and 21 cocktails offered. We have noticed that the numbers of beer offered have been rising over the last 5 years.

We waited in line for food at France on July 23 for about 20 minutes. It was so hot that we ran over to Morocco’s back restaurant for their AC (they converted it to a relax station) and did not even notice that the escargot croissant was burnt and not edible. Waste of money.

The only thing that was worth money this year, of the items we tried, was at the Donut Box. It is called Crispy Chicken on a Sriracha-glazed donut. We are due back in September and hope for a better experience. But we might be rethinking our F&W festival visits for the coming years due to limit on the wines. You might want to change it to Food & Libations or Food & Beer Festival. I think the wines need to come back and maybe the craft beers can wait for another one of Epcots festivals. I don’t think I would recommend this year’s festival to any of my friends.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share a review of your recent visit during Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. Although your visits in the past have been enjoyable, I'm disheartened to learn this trip around the World Showcase left you expecting more. I appreciate you sharing your honest feedback throughout your review, and please be assured I will be making your feedback visible to the appropriate Leadership team as well. We truly believe by listening to our Guests, we will know what we’re doing right and— most importantly—what we should continue to improve upon. I can certainly understand your hesitation to return in September, but I do hope we'll be welcoming you back for another day of discovery. Zoey Disney Social Reviews

Great time
Jun 2021
Epcot was great. Very few lines. Walked on to every ride. The longest we waited for a ride was 15 minutes. The only downfall was the skyliner stopped working so that was an inconvenience.
