The park appears to be on a beach. The water is beautiful and the park is absolutely massive. Not really a great place for tourists, but a fun place to just go and hang out in your free time.

Kayaking the mangrove then across to an island in Biscayne Bay and exploring it was the highlight of this visit. But the weather changed for the worst rather quickly & the kayak back in the rain was less than enjoyable. Go with rain gear if...More

I live in a building next to the park, and I don't hear any city noise. I never slept on the park cabins, but i can tell you it is very quite around here. Very peaceful.
