DO NOT GO, RABIES RISK - unvaccinated domesticated animals. My family and I attended the farm where we engaged with an animal on the farm which bit and scratched us. None of the admin knew when it was last vaccinated. We finally established that it was last due for vaccination in 2016. Based on the recommended protocols by the NICD we all had to undergo post-exposure treatment costing in excess of R10000. To date, the farm have not shown us the animal’s vaccination card and failed to confirm whether the unvaccinated animal has, in fact been vaccinated.

We love this place because it has a wide range of activities for kids. There is no entrance fee to see the animals and it's R10 for a bag of animal pellets (if you wish to feed the donkeys, pigs, goats and bunnies) . There is also a pathway for kids to ride their plastic motorbikes or scooters. The kids can play to their hearts content while the parents order food or drinks from the restaurant.

Great venue out of the hustle and bustle of Ballito. Cafe, Deli, Beauty & Hair Salons, Saddlery and beautiful decor & kids retail stores. Good selection of activities for kids. Lovely venue in the atrium for special celebrations

When you have a busy toddler, you tend to source places where you can go sit a while, have a cup of tea and eat a snack, and also have something to keep the kid busy. This is a good spot for that. They have cakes and muffins and hamburgers, the kids enjoy running around. There is a spot where they can play on a jungle gym as well.

We met friends here for lunch. There were 10 of us and we had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. We were not rushed to have our meal...the kids got to look at the animals and play whilst the adults could chat and catch up. There is also a generous grass area with football goals where the kids (and Dads) were able to have a kick around. Good photo opportunities too as it is beautiful.

Very bleak seeing scores of de out ad, driedcowrie shells for sale here (those things don't just wash up on the beach in numbers and sizes like that) .....probably illegally harvested, killed, dried out and sold onto you....and throw in some Shark products for good measure too. But either way was disappointing to see this for sale like that, it just creates a market, encourages poaching and killing the last bit of what is left on our coastline. We won't be supporting Burndale while this continues.

Burnedale is a gem! Loads of quirky items for the home and beach cottages. Lovely tea room and Red Lips offer all the pamper treatments that a lady needs. Cutist chickens run around the property. Also a pottery shop. Something for everyone.
