Grab a seat on your nearest patio and watch the world go by. Fancy cars and all kinds of people. Hit up your favorite restaurant, get some drinks and soak up the sun on interesting Collins ave.

Access to everything in south beach that a one day or week long visit could require. Food of every kind, but try the local dishes. Very little evidence remains of the fall destruction to the lower state of Florida In the escutcheon beaches. There is...More

One of the main streets with restaurants, bars and hotels. We stayed at a hotel on this street and loved the location and how close it was to everything.

Mainly a street of hotels Collins serves as a useful base when in South Beach. We didn't find any interesting bars or shops on this street - better on Lincoln or Washington.

What an incredible city, no way to be bored, so many places to visit, so many restaurants that is hard to pick, no regrets, just sad it was over so soon :-)

Nice street to walk on. You'll find one of everything here from bars to restaurants to shopping. Its a BUSY street most of the day (and night) so be aware.

Lots of empty store-fronts. Nothing of substance, just a few basic shops and a lot of “I love Miami” t-short stores.

Stayed on Collins Avenue on a recent 4 night stay. Collins Avenue provides an array of eating places and a good variety of shops. It also has a free shuttle tram up and down Collins Avenue.

No reason to worry- at least not at daytime and during night time I would try to have company. Other than that, I personal would not be worried at all. It is the party zone and you may meet some unusual people. However... More

There are affordable restaurants in the area. I'd check with your hotel concierge for suggestions on restaurants within walking distance that are in your price range.
