Visit Miami’s flagship art museum, and learn about modern and contemporary, international art at Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM). Exhibitions highlight Miami’s diverse community and pivotal geographic location at the crossroads of the Americas. In addition to exploring the galleries, visitors can: enjoy waterfront dining at Verde restaurant; shop a unique selection of art books, furnishings and handmade items at the museum’s gift store; and take in the spectacular views of Biscayne Bay and the elaborate hanging gardens. Designed by Pritzker Prize winning architects Herzog & de Meuron, PAMM provides an educational and civic forum for the County’s residents and visitors alike.

This is not a museum in a strict sense. It's permanent collection, if it exists, is not displayed, unless you count ten or so paintings hung sparsely in rooms, without much rhyme or reason. The exhibitions are horrendous displays of anti-art and social-justice art. Some...More

This is one of the nicest galleries in the USA. The building and grounds are worth seeing in themselves but the selection of art and sculpture on display is impressive. Better still, on the first Thursday of the month, entry is free all day.

The outside of the museum has vertical columns of hanging gardens, like stalactites, containing ferns and other plants, which are quite spectacular. Inside the museum is an eclectic collection of modern art. When we were there we saw an exhibition of artwork created on an...More

While in Miami, is not just party and drinks, this place deserves a visit. Location is great, very well organized, beautiful decoration, and the collections there are really nice. There is also a restaurant with a very nice light menu for lunch. Loved it.

I know far more about other kinds of art than this museum’s focus on modern art and artists with Cuban or Caribbean ties, but this was a truly interesting experience. For those who want to expand their experiences with art or who are especially interested...More

Perez Art Museum is a gem, very nice and modern, we had a free tour explaining about the architecture of the building. We also had lunch at the restaurant but did not like it very much

The Perez surely will remain a landmark in architecture for decades to come with its stunning hanging gardens and beautiful location on Biscayne Bay. It was relaxing to sit outside and soak the surroundings. The museum itself is also very visually stunning and I thought...More

I went to see the museum as it is a gorgeous building right on the water. The art that most interested me were those about Cuba. As a visitor it taught me a lot about Cuba and what Cubans are struggling with - specifically lack...More

I would also concur with others who recommend a taxi. Once you are there, I would ask at the desk what they would suggest for getting back. If you spending more time downtown after the museum, there is a circulator... More
